A pale, raven haired beauty, Beatrix wears typical sailor's attire. Her hair is free flowing, only contained by a tricorne hat. Over her clothes she prefers an embroidered sea coat and is never without her weapons.

Beatrix is a skilled sailor and the Captain of the Jolli Rouge. She is also skilled with the Cutlass and an excellent shot. In addition, she possesses the powers and abilities of her vampire brethren.
Vampire Powers
Beatrix is infected with a new strain of Vampirism. She is gifted with supernatural strength and agility as well as heightened senses, but only when not exposed to sunlight. When exposed to the sun, she is only marginally stronger and faster than the average human. She requires a steady, daily diet of blood like much of her kind, but gains no extra powers for doing so, though she will grow weaker without feeding. She possesses an instinctive grasp of magic attuned to her vampiric strain capable of harnessing dark energies, but has little to no training in its use aside from basic trial and error over her lifetime. In addition, her strain is magically allergic to silver, the metal in question leaving burns immediately at the slightest touch.
Personality
Loud and straightforward, many have dubbed her rude and uncultured. She is ruthless and cutthroat, often slaughtering crews and villages whole to strike fear along the coastlines and among merchant vessels. While her crew obeys without question, they are quick to avoid her ire and her clients deal fairly lest they find their guys upon the ground or worse, for when dealing with a pirate crew of vampires, death is the least of terrors possible.

Little is known about her past before the pirate Beatrix Germaine emerged from the sea mists, but her infamy runs rampant along the coast and through shipping lanes. Her vampiric crew of undead pirates have left a red wake upon the sea where few survive their blood thirst. On moonlit nights, ships double the watch, for only a keen eyed lookout is the best saviour against Captain Beatrix and the Jolli Rouge
