The Gods held her like a secret, kept her sheltered in their temple, but like all secrets... they find a way of coming out.

Appearance

With a pale complexion, unblemished, Aristeia has always favoured using light smudging of kohl to accentuate her almond shaped eyes. A colour that was once blue, now dances between the softest blue hues to light smokey grey, Aristeia was known for her intimidating stare despite all other soft features about her. As a youngling, she had always had a halo of white hair that never darkened or changed colour as she grew older. It made her stand out, and a little self absorbed enough that she took an interest into presenting herself to be meticulous. Beauty was a weapon, and she would always armour herself with rouge to her cheek bones and paint her plump lips.

Aristeia wore ivory dresses as a Maiden to the Temple, and upon her ascension to Priestess, was honoured to wear the crimson robes of Moire. It was the highest honour to serve the First Mother, and such a position only added to the prestige of the Darke family name.

Abilities

Aszai are gifted in their enhancements of their senses on a superior level. Sight, smell, and hearing, it is not often one can sneak up and surprise Aristeia. She had been sure to hone her senses, to train herself to move with infinite grace more so to be admired and fawned over by her people than to be a predator.

Because of her dedication to the Temple, she was practiced to stealth than to taking up arms in warcraft. She spent years inoculating herself to several poisons and toxins than learning how to wield a sword, but never did the Priestess want to be helpless. Her armour was unseen, unfeeling, until hours later when one's organs begins to fail. All of which came from wearing intoxicating perfumes. Aristeia fashioned herself after the highly poisonous Anver Lily, which also is known for it's blood red colouring much like Moire's depiction as the blood moon.

Aristeia is also gifted in the ability to sway one's intent through a compulsion. It is believed that she had dissuaded a number of admirers this way.

The Lore As It Was Told...

Immune to the bloodborne disease that wiped out a great number of Aszai, Aristeia and her sister, Lorelei Darke , are the known surviving two of their kind after civl war erupted among the covens of their home. Lorelei laid a spell over their coven and family into hibernation to wait out the effects of the biological warfare that killed many of the Aszai, although the catacombs were prove to not be a secure and safe location as upon waking, the Darke sisters were not buried and crushed as the earth moved to the awakening of Drakomir.

A year passes, and the sisters have found Alliria to be a hub of information and shelter.

With the loss of her entire life, but not her beliefs in the gods, Aristeia's mentality wavers in this new world. It is only her sister that can bring her back to stability, to keep her complacent and calm. At her reawakening, she came to realise there was so many things she must relearn. The overwhelming grief left Aristeia slightly cracked and wounded, meaning her bloodlust and her moods struggled when in large crowds filled with noise and scents.
