Few things can match the protection and fear factor of the winged armor. Built for the King of Widostrok, and discovered by his grandson years later after the removal of his family from royalty, this armor is made up of a protective steel helmet that masks the face, steel armor to protect the chest, arms, and shoulders, and leg armor. The wings on this armor are made of tightly packed feathers all attached to a pair of metal supported, wood frames.

  • Name: The Winged Armor
  • Type: Armor
  • Size: Large and Mid-weight- Requires decent strength to effectively move around in it.

Overview

Description

This shield is the product of the kings blacksmith. The armor was designed to invoke fear. When charging, the clinging noise of the wings can be used to startle horses and scare them off, while the appearance itself can send enemy belligerents fleeing, due to the armor's resemblance to some sort of demon.

The structure of the armor, along with thick clothing underneath, provide great protection against swords and blunt weapons.

Effect

Besides providing excellent protection, this armor is said to give off vibes of authority and respect. The armor makes the wearer appear taller than normal and this can make him seem more threatening than he is.

History

Background

On top of this, the king wears the hide of a leopard on his shoulders to both distinguish him in combat and to keep warm. This armor is not readily available to anyone outside the Pretender's Party.
