It was the midst of day, but the sky was black. It was a summer's eve, but the town ran cold. A looping vapor, a rolling fog, a tumbling mist, a lurking bog, the cold air swelled in the city or what was left that is. The small city had been plagued with crackling dying flames. The sounds of the once lively city had died out along with any form of light that would have been there, leaving only a blue hue to everything.
It was an archaic sight, what should've been a futuristic scene had turned into masses of stone, no metal and glass, contrast to it's once lively form. Bodies crippled the ground, cars that crashed hummed and blistered with dent and bend, a disturbing lack of any form of life was painted across the long streets of the city. The trees and foliage plants for beautification were wilted and dead, wet and moist as if brought great depression. It was a ghost town for the most part. A slumbering town. Raven's cawed flocking from one direction of the street only to land on the corpses and destroyed terrain, perched with vigilance.
A single figure caressed the lifeless scene, walking with observant movement along the streets in a tattered robe of cotton weave, following him was the densest portion of the mist that loomed over the town. His face could not be seen not because the fog was to great, but because it was pitch black beneath the hood of the robe. The rest of his body was, as if each part was independently controlled but still synchronized, of scholarly and yet cryptic prowse. He leaned over the slumbered body of a corpse that had been thrown into a glass window and lacerated by the many shards of broken glass and spoke in whispers to it. Like a child spilling secrets to a friend. He would walk away from the corpse and just as he turned his back the presumably dead body twitched it's fingers, and then it's foot. Within a few seconds of spasm and twitches the body rose lifting it's upper torso from the confines of it's glass sharded nail bed and broke free from the singular shard that should have dislocated it's spinal column. Naturally it shouldn't have been able to stand let alone upright but it moved. It moved in slow stumbles, a large shard of glass was implant firmly in it's back and jabbed out the pectoral region. The figure seemed to whisper more into the dead before the permanently sleep woke once more to stand. Even those of which he never walked to rose. As he walked a small army of the undead traveled behind adding onto itself. The sewer drains, buildings and undertones of cars and trucks spilled out with swarms of skeletons adding onto the city wide population of undead that followed behind this one mysterious dark figure. Covered by a fog the city would be a white zone until the mysterious figure left it's confines within the span of several hours of slow paced walking. The fog would follow and cascade over him and the army before they reached a heavily wooded forest and like that the fog thickened to a point it resembles cotton, thick enough to almost feel. Within the midst of a second the city was empty, devoid of all life and being. The swarm of undead, the ravens and their guiding figure had disappeared with no trace.

”There is no question that you will eventually come to an end. Even the greatest of beings come to die, to cease existing. Immortality is only a pause button, all it takes is for someone to press play before time finally catches up to them. Time is one of the leading causes of death you know. ”

Ahztoshan is a truly neutral person, a person interacting with him will often see it as nonchalant or unwavering carelessness however his alignment stays true to being a gray zone. At times he can be a chaotic neutral in which case his actions are often the spawn of great chaos, which at first glance appears to be evil but when a cause his seen and or just they tend to bend towards lawfully good however because his intentions on doing such actions are unclear and often result in absurd or even morally challenging the neutrality of his alignment is shown.

▻ ɢᴏᴏᴅ ǫᴜᴀʟɪᴛɪᴇs ◅

Generally appears to be a quiet or solemn person. Ahztoshan is rather diligent and passionate about his work with the undead and actually treats people with respect and courtesy even if he's often treated unfairly based off his appearance and craft. He will go out of his way to clean up a battlefield or even repair a city if broken or destroyed. He doesn't steal nor does he himself ever wish ill luck on a person. Despite being emotionally cold he does not harbour any emotions towards a person neither bad nor good and that alone is a quality in itself.

▻ ʙᴀᴅ ǫᴜᴀʟɪᴛɪᴇs ◅

Ahztoshan appears to be deceptive and quietly evil. His methods of finding a solution are often questionable both morally and religiously. He doesn't have a perception of morality however because he believes in the end all things will die or cease to exist. Though he posses advanced healing abilities he will not go out of his way to aid a person he sees about to die and would only ever really lend a healing hand to those when he deems it necessary. Even further he pays much more attention in aiding the likes of non living beings and undead rather than the living. Upon seeing corpse, skeleton, anything dead or nonliving he will waste no time resurrecting it has a servant to him. He actively goes to graveyards to speak to the dead. And will without descrimination or hesitation reanimate the corpses of fallen comrades as his own. This result in people thinking him ill. And though he always leaves an area with an army of undead and non living behind him, he always arrives alone making people wonder what exactly he does with the bodies, what could he be planning.

Death Ahztoshan is a fanatic of the decayed, the dying, the dead or anything that contradicts life itself.

True Neutral - Gray
Ahztoshan is a neutral gray person. He is neither good nor evil. And instead does morally questionable deeds on top of both deeds that appear helpful or appear demoralizing. His actions imply that he's always focused on a bigger picture that on it's course are often fueled with questionable deeds but end with positive results for other people. Typically they involve completing tasks that require multiple points of view to complete grasp the purpose of. Everything requires a sacrifice Ahztoshan understands that without hesitation.

▻ sᴛʀᴇɴɢᴛʜs ◅

Ahztoshan has a general mindset- His strengths lie in his ability to command divide and conquer. He works well with a group of obedient beings and if his plans are executed exactly the way he wants he's always prone for success. Regardless he definitely values both Quality and Quantity and uses this value system to accurately group together his armies.

Keen Intellect- Mentally he is very much above the human species and can comprehend and understand all information he comes to learn of and or interact with. His keen intellect allows him to study diverse topics including forms of eldritch magic and such. He can withstand the insanity that comes with madness and promptly navigate through various forms of psychic alterations. His mind is powerful enough to passively block illusion although a strong enough force can still induce him. Though he safe guards escape over self preservation finding himself wanting to delve deeper into the power of illusion that comes from his own mind rather than avoid it. He can also see through illusion like glass and as such has no problem breaking free from them after he's had his fill.

Immunity to Pestilence- Ahztoshan is immune to diseases of all forms, including the likes of mana rots, corruption of all forms, mind rots, depredations, decay, physical rot, limitation of resources etc. In all sorts he cannot be stricken ill. This is due to his own affliction known as ~The Decay of Lichdom.

Legendary insight in dealing with the dead, undead, and non living - Because of his natural "gifts" or "talents" Ahztoshan is supremely coherent in the working of the lifeless. He has absolutely no match when it comes to commanding the dead or non living and has absolutely full control as a leader rather than being just a controller. In regards to this insight, he has been able to not only command the nonliving with no worry of induced betrayal but also has the ability to steal away the non living minions of other who command them, while also being able to command those of which have no owner, in short he's a myth of his trade and has been gifted with the ability to keep it that way.

Physical damage intolerant- Ahztoshan does not take physical damage because he is already dead he doesn't feel pain or take permanent damage from it.

Healing Magic - Despite his necromantic background he's an excellent healer and AoE damage dealer and is able to heal damage faster than he's dealt with it.

Immunity to Nox - It goes without saying Ahztoshan is immune to dark magics of all forms. But he and his legion are also immune to forced transmutation.

▻ ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs ◅

Holy Magic - It's reasonable to say that the only prominent weakness of a Necromancer are both Holy weapons and magic. Though cleansing does not affect the Necromancer the grand scheme follows that Holy magic damages much more than other branches of magic. This aversion can be overcome after the right conditions are made. He still maintains normal damage from other branches of magic and even physical attacks. With a durability just slightly better than that of the average human.

▻ ᴡᴇᴀᴘᴏɴʀʏ ◅

Bag of bones
"Bag-o-bones"
Ahztoshan carries with him many sacks in which he carries bones. These sacks carry numerous bones to summon skeleton warriors of different archetypes to aid Ahztoshan in battle. Each sack can carry two skeletons worth of bones and he typically has whatever undead spawn he has with him carry the sacks. Naturally he can summon skeletons from the ground but these provide a more practical and stealthy usage. They also help with transporting bodies of those he does not aim to reanimate yet.

▻ ᴄᴏᴍʙᴀᴛ sᴛʏʟᴇ ◅

Ahztoshan prefers to fight within the midst of a chaotic battle, dealing with his opponents by getting lost in the crowd and doing AoE attacks as they are being overwhelmed with numerous powerful forces. Ahztoshan is typically a team commander, a field mage of sorts. He likes to plan his fights as they are unfolding and even just moments before they occur. He typically likes to have the home field advantage but does not mind going into uncharted lands. He contributes to the fight by aiding his horde with heal undead spells though he prefers not to get into fights himself. If confronted face to face with an opponent he typically overwhelms them with AoE attacks that are concentrated in one area. His army typically will come to his aid regardless.

▻ ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀs ◅

Ahztoshan is a necromancer, he's a firm wielder of "Dark Arts" primarily focused around raising the dead, animating the inanimate and controlling things that aren't alive. He does this with what is known as: A command soul. Command souls are a rare gift that an extremely few people are blessed. They allow the issue of command and domination over beings they target, in this case it is the non living. Ahztoshans command soul allows him to even command those of which already controlled by others or themselves and ignore the influence of other beings on himself and his minions, even against those with command souls themselves.

Ahztoshan was born with these abilities and from what is pieced together from his past has always been able to master the undead and nonliving. Ahztoshan can turn a graveyard into a corpse party resurrect mythical and godly beings under his command despite their powers. He can control zombies or undead people that others control he can even control the infestation or blighted beings of the world. His control of vermin allows him such that he can summon swarms of insects, birds, and rodents to work with him.

(Passive) The Decay of Lichdom ▻ (The Decay of Lichdom is a transformation period that occurs when a natural born necromancer begins to transcend mortality and become a Lich. Though the process is like a metamorphosis it works very much like an affliction rather than a coming of form. This transformation results in the body rapidly decaying due to increases in the necromancer’s skills and abilities. As power grows within Ahztoshan so does the affliction. Due to his consistent necromantic capabilities Ahztoshan left hand has already been affected by the decay as a result he has gained the ability Death Touch. Passively, because Ahztoshan is afflicted with the Decay of Lichdom he is immune to all forms of diseases, illnesses, and depredations, both physically, mentally and spiritually. He can not fall ill to mana affliction nor can he fall ill to corruptions or the withering of mana or life force. His state for the time being only moves forward and cannot be reversed, though it’s more than safe to say he is immune to the negative effects of time and any increase or decrease of time for him only aids to his transformation accelerating the process. Passively Ahztoshan is time irrelevant meaning in any other way time does not affect him at all.)

(Triggered/Passive) Command Undead ▻ (Ahztoshan can enforce his will on beings that are non living. Ahztoshan can freely control all beings that are nonliving (skeletons, zombies, lich, undead, souls, spirits etc.) with ease no matter their mental/spiritual strength or resistance. He can use this ability to put other beings under his will or raise that which is eternally rested through means in his Raise Undead Skill Tree. This ability cannot be nullified or negated as it is not magic but sheer indomitable will from his command soul. Does not apply to living things. This works especially well for astral beings as they wear their life force as a form. In this case he can treat them as souls instead of astral beings and command them under his will. His command undead ability in unconditional towards abilities that would negate or dispel it leaving no room for escape or forcefully manipulation of his armies in regards to controls unless Ahztoshan frees the being from his command. Ahztoshan is not limited to the stereotypical undead as long as it's void of life or has none to begin with its under his control even if it's considered multidimensional. )

(Activated) Unique Necromancer Skill Tree: Raise Undead ▻ (With his command soul and necromantic prowess Ahztoshan can animate the inanimate. His powers allow him to raise zombies from the grave, raises corpses off the battlefield, summon skeletons and reanimate the dead all as his own. This ability is used to awaken the eternally resting and place it under his command. Ahztoshan can raise countless undead in an instant. He can seemingly raise skeletons and lesser zombies from nowhere but he requires corpses in order to have stronger more unique ones. If he targets a being with powers or special talents that being will be able to use them under Ahztoshan’s command completely with faith and unwavering loyalty despite having a countering ability of sorts.)

(Activated) Unique Necromancer Skill Tree: Heal, Heal Undead, Reverse Heal ▻ (This skill allows Ahztoshan to heal his allies and his undead when he feels the need too. It's effect is self explanatory, it simply replenishes the health of the targeted relative to that of which target he chooses. Heal archetype skills do not work on the undead and Heal Undead archetype skills do not work on the living. However, with his vast knowledge of healing he can heal and cure just about any affliction placed on a person, including hexes, curses, plagues and even mana afflictions. The process of each can vary between, rituals, incantations, healing auras etc. He can heal people at exceptionally fast rates and can heal damage just as fast as it's delivered. In contrast his Unique Necromancer Skill Tree and abilities give him a skill only he has been able to do effectively: Reverse Heal. Reverse Heal deals damage in the form of healing initially. He can directly heal people from a distance or up close. He can even heal them past their necessary health gauge, by healing a target he has the option of reverse healing in which case the amount of healing he’s done within a 5 turn frame at any time can be converted into pure damage at which case inverts the person's health or life force and kills them. )

(Passive Trait) Craft Magic Scholar ▻ (Due to being a scholar of trade skills in the magic department Ahztoshan can cast elemental spells with increased efficiency, primarily ice and fire but he dabbles in some others. He can also enchant and enhance his armies which give them increased stats and durability. In most cases he can even grant his armies magical powers of a singular archetype that he himself has. He can also enhance other objects of his creation and is an excellent scholar, alchemist, chemist, and botanist. )

(Skill Tree) The Unique Necromancer ▻ (Ahztoshan has the ability to utilize magics and skills involving the dead, dead forces, and souls. He can also utilize the non living and inanimate which in most cases is everything outside of living beings for the most part. Some branches of The Unique Necromancer skill tree follow as:
King of Bones: Ahztoshan utilizes various skeletal themed skills. Skills under the King of Bones category typically involve the manifestation or conjuring of bones in various shapes in forms; such skills include:
  • Summon Skeleton: Summons a skeleton warrior of a defining arch type to fight in battle or cater to various tasks.
  • Bone Wall: Creates a wall of bones.
  • Bone Cage: Creates a sharp jagged cage around a target limiting their movement.
  • Bone Pike: Creates various long pointed bones used the eviscerate targets, or force them to evade. Can be channeled to execute the skill bone shard which fires off various bone fragments as sharp high velocity projectiles.

Skills involving the manipulation and commanding of souls with the same aptitude as the undead fall under the branch Sheppard of Souls. This skill tree allows Ahztoshan to communicate with souls and spirits issuing orders such as possess or haunt. Abilities falling under the branch include:
  • Soul Siphon: Aztoshan draws energy and power from souls, siphons them and is capable of use them for means such as increasing his own power or adopting the abilities of the soul siphoned.
  • Wisp-er of Thought: Ahztoshan can see or gain the memories of souls he comes in contact with.
  • Spirit Battery: Uses souls as a power source for cryptic inventions or aid upgrade undead armies.
  • Soul Punch: Sends a spiritual force through a living being and ejects their soul from their body.
  • Soul Bending: Using souls Aztoshan deal spiritual damage through all of his attacks.

He own skills that allow him to create what he likes to call the home field advantage this branch of skill allows him to create hex’s, totems, and practically increase his own abilities while diminishing the abilities of others, it’s name is The Pagan. This tree consist of skills like:
  • Hallowed Ground: Curses the very land and plagues it with irreversible rot in a 750 foot radius gives increases in damage, strength, speed and durability for Aztoshan and his minions while decreasing the same stats for other beings in the radius while also dealing damage overtime, this damage ticks away life force and anti-life force and feeds it to Ahztoshan. This also increases the potency and strength of undead spawns. Hallowed Ground also feeds Ahztoshan energy.
  • Curse Totem and Hex Rune: Using bone Aztoshan can create totems or carve runes to use as magic conduits, amplifiers, mufflers or multiple casting points.

He also has skills involving the siphoning or leaching of life forces in an opponent in which case is turned into energy for his undead armies. However this can extend into other areas which allows him to rot, degrade or even rapidly decay his surroundings This branch is called Rotter of Time which includes skills such as:
  • Rot: Causes things on contact to rot and decay
  • Time Thief: Siphons the literal life span of time from a target physical contact increases this to an instant siphon later evolved to form the skill Death Touch increases the Rot of Lichdom passive.)
  • Clock Meddler: Passively is immune to time freeze, acceleration or deceleration. Can trigger increase affliction of Rot of Lichdom passive.

(Passive) Death Touch ▻ (With his cursed hand he can issue death on anyone or anything he physically touches or that physically touches it. In which case it can rot and wither anything in much the same way. It's not his dominant hand and it's clear why. Death Touch instantly kills a target erasing their life forces instantly on contact. Can be toggled to slowly drain life energy rather than erase it. Soul is pulled with hand apun release. )

(Passive) Lich Loved▻ (Ahztoshan's command soul allows him protection from Liches and the undead alike. His presence activates an instinctive feeling to protect Ahztoshan. No Lich or undead can even muster the thought of harming him let alone attack him. In most cases he would be regarded as an alley. This applies very well to those who dwell within necromancy and death.)

(Passive) Command/Call Vermin ▻ (Ahztoshan can freely call to his aid insects, rodents various vermin and bird to aid him in his endeavours. His command soul can extend towards lesser beings like vermin just as effectively as the undead, killing them only makes them more effective. Aztoshan can use living animals as recon drones or diversion while he can directly link with their undead variants allowing him a more personal perspective of his recon. He can make birds swarm and blot the sky, insects infest town, rats eat the flesh from bone and cause bacteria and fungi to invade towns. Of course this is only the surface to what he can do with vermin.

(Gate) Oblivion Gate / End Gate ▻ (Ahztoshan is the unconscious owner of the inner Kabbalah Gate of End. The Oblivion Gate. He in fact has no idea how to draw its power nor does he know how to effectively use it to begin with. He doesn't even know what the gate is and instead uses it as an endless barracks for his undead army. The Kabbalah gate is mysterious with doors bared shut and held close with ,metallic skeletal arms of varying sizes wrapping around the gate. A heavy thick mist covers the complete shape of the gate and the top cannot be seen and only the scripture, “Death is only the first of the last door, Beyond the second and final awaits nothingness, oblivion.” The mist coats an endless field spread out trees and soil which is misleading considering the location is not on earth but eternally inside Ahztoshan. He can open ring shaped portals that can ultimately allow his armies to flood the fields of battle. Though the mist actually proves to be a form of portal as well for Ahztoshan and his army to the entrance of the gate which his army has formally made into a city like barracks. The gate is the literal end It symbolizes the stopping of all things and the end of existence. The Oblivion Gates come in two parts the End and Oblivion. The represents the chronological position in which things are bound to stop for the necromancer this represents death though while all things die they all pass on to different forms. The second part is Oblivion, though Ahztoshan has not been able to open the first set of doors to the gate he has the understanding from the scriptures written on the gate that there is something beyond death: Oblivion, the absolute end of existing, True Death)
