Appearance

She is a large Nordic young woman, but not in the bad way. Instead of feminine curves she was given muscle. Instead of fair skin and features she was given the rough textures of a warrior. The claw marks of a wild animal still mark the right side of her face with pink scars. If seen her body bares the stories of hundreds of scars from both beast and man and many things in between. She looks older than she is, due in part to the trauma of her past she has signs of premature aging.

Personality

Willow isn't a people person. She speaks her mind and doesn't care who hears it. If someone cannot handle someone having an opinion or cannot handle someone disagreeing with them then she sees that person as weak and untrustworthy. She doesn't respect a single soul until they earn her respect, a feat easier accomplished by an animal.

She is normally a loner, traveling only with her father in his mercenary and adventurer journeys. But in her travels she has met many people who earned her respect and friendship. People she would die for in an instant.

Biography & Lore

Willow was taken from infancy into the captivity of an enclave of corrupt scientists, magic users, alchemists, and necromancers. In her short life she was experimented on with runes, potions, rituals and enchantments towards the singular goal of creating the perfect soldier. They didn't care that she was a girl, they simply expected her to die so that they could take notes and further refine the process.

But she didn't die.
For some unknown reason her will to live was stronger than all the others and she managed to reach her fifth birthday. She became the hopeful of the enclave as they worked towards their goal and they experimented on her all the more intensely.

But she was miserable, as they all were. They were treated like animals and only barely kept alive. But in spite of this she remained strong until she made her seventh birthday and everything changed. It was her final experiment. It seemed the wizards and alchemists finally got what they wanted. The girl broke through her chains easily and the cage bars were like paper to her. But they had seen this success before and were prepared this time. Their magic users paralyzed the girl and bound her with enchanted chains that they deemed would hold her, especially under the effects of her paralyzation which they would renew regularly.

For the scientists it seemed they had finally found success. But then the enclave shook as the gates were knocked to the ground. The enclave shook over and over again as the magic users and wizards rushed between defending themselves and trying to escape. All Willow was aware of was when the door of her cell was thrown off and a man entered her cell, pulled her chains to pieces and carried her out of that hell hole.

Finally free and with this new friend she decided to call him her father. His name is Isaias Kildare, so she too took the surname Kildare. With her father they lived in the wilderness, living off of the land in solitude and near hermitage. But by the time she turned fourteen it seemed that hermitage came to an end and they both decided to become adventurers, even going in together with the Band of the weasel which later became the Band Of The Juggernaut under her fathers leadership.

Now Willow occasionally strikes out on her own, seeking her own wealth. But she always keeps close ties with her father and checks up on him whenever she can.
But for now her legend is her own, and she will forge it herself, taking what her father taught her and making it greater.
