Nosdyn spends most of his life mining ore. He says very little and lets his actions speak for him. His life was a constant battle of survival under the whip and other brutal torture devices of slavers, but he endured. He has an extremely strong will. At the start of our young Hero's journey, Nosdyn is roughly 30 something and has only known the life of a slave his entire life.

Appearance

Standing at a semi reasonable height for an Orc, Nosdyn is extremely muscular, it is not lean muscle at all. He is built extremely strong from a life of physical labor mining the mines. He has a broad chest and shoulders, and the tell tale tribal markings of his tribe. Some mistake them as tattoos and symbols, but they are actually birth marks. Nosdyn has no hair and is completely bald. He says very little preferring to let his actions speak for him.

Since his transformation to a Vampire Nosdyn has a few additions to his appearance. Notably: he wears a ceremonial red blind fold (Think: Demon Hunters from World of Warcraft) with several marks on it of The House of Skotadi.

Nosdyn is physically blind but his other senses are heightened to make up for this.

He also wields battle gauntlets in battle, prototype weapons made by the Mastersmith Asel.

Skills and Abilities

Nosdyn has mined ore his entire life. He is exceedingly good at mining the various known minerals of the world. These are ores like Copper, Iron, and Silver. At the start of our story, Nosdyn mines copper mainly since his masters do not trust him to make weapons of war to wield against them. Probably right so. His main skill is mining. He can mine ore at a exceedingly effective rate at this point and knows how to spot ore veins and the like. He is getting close to where he can physically SMELL natural copper veins in the earth.

Aside from mining skills, Nosdyn has the physical combat prowess of his people. He can kill with his hands, but the life of servitude has made him an obedient slave. He will only strike when told to strike against the enemies of the masters not when he has perceived a false code of right and wrong. The master's word was law to Nosdyn. He can fight as needed and if necessary...to kill as needed.

~Vampirism. Sooner or later the Thirst always wins.

Nosdyn is a Lord Vampire having obtained that through many long and hard fought battles. Nosdyn retains many of the traditional Vampire powers, and all of their weaknesses inherited. Nos is weak to Sunlight: which he tries to avoid at all costs, many types of Fire Magic and natural fire itself and he has one more deep weakness. He only can move fast when he shadow steps.

As part of his Vampire powers; Once a day Nosdyn may turn a concubine servant into another Vampire ally thus expanding House Skotadi.

Further: Nos retains The Thirst and must periodically feed. HOW he gets the blood does not matter, but Humanoids are typically preferred. Note: Humans are not necessarily killed and some retain their lives as indentured blood banks.

The most notable change is Skotadi who will be developed much more later on. Skotadi is the patron Blood God of House of Skotadi and exists as a super rare genetic marker. In it's current state only Nosdyn has the true form of Skotadi within his genetic pool making him on e of the strongest living Vampires.

Note: Nos is still very much killable it is just a very difficult task to pull off.

Nos can regenerate from most injuries but not his eyes: his sight is forever gone and he sees heat as a counter balance point.

Personality

A quiet and constantly pensive individual. He says very little, but in his eyes lurks the makings of a fierce battle field warrior. His eyes tell the story, he is extremely intelligent but the intellect is the intellect of someone who is well versed on the field of battle. It is not book worm intellect at all. His knowledge is of the fist, and the slavers whips. Nosdyn has been desperate and learned to survive the treacherous life of the mines since he was forced and sold into slavery. He longs for more than a simple slave's life of service.

Biography & Lore

Nosdyn was raised as a slave. Most of his life, he's mined minerals for the Nation he ended up in. He knows nothing of his own past, or the tribe of Blue Orc he hails from. He has faced the cruelty of his slave master's torture more than once in his life...but endured. He mines along side many other slaves day in and day out, that is the only life he knows...until one day...it all began.

~The Nosdyn Chronology~ (This contains the current Nosdyn Chronology as a works. As a whole. Please enjoy the hard work myself and Anya put into all this stuff. Remember folks: SOONER or later the thirst always wins.)

~The humble beginning: (It begins with the adventures with Anya and Nosdyn, O Traveller)
(Note: the first project is almost completed)

During the events of The First Rebellion Nosdyn, in his early communions with SKotadi discovers that a rare ore connected to The Great Ones event exists. He proceeds to mine and manufacture this ore and meets the mysterious blacksmith Asel. Who joins forces with Nosdyn. At that point, she fashions a suitable pair of battle gauntlets that generate Heat as a controlled weapon.

(Incomplete Nosdyn and Asel)

Depths of Mine. The first part of the Nosdyn Chronology. We begin with our Hero living as a slave miner in the mines. The Empire is not kind to it's servants. One night a faithful encounter bring Anya into the mix of things as a slave also forced into servitude. Anyda and Nosdyn, and another miner, Lady Ella soon become friends. The three become extremely close allied at that point. Fighting many battles against The Empire's slave drivers.

The first Rebellion is held out of the mine and Nosdyn, Anya and many of the slave miners fight their way out.

Eventually a small fortress town is built. Kathuul'Stahn.

Created by Anya and Nosdyn's own hands...the fortress becomes a safe haven for all free races hiding from The Empire. The town soon becomes a city as time passes. Nosdyn places women in leadership positions from the very beginning and the city is entirely Amazonian in leadership with women being strong and fair rulers.

During this entire event, the Second war occurs against a Vampire Lord named Grendric who challenges Nosdyn's power and infringement upon his territory. Grendric had a Castle keep nearby to Nosdyn's city and war became inevitable.

During The Second War Nosdyn and Anya meet Velera. A Vampiress formerly under Grtendric's command. Velera falls in love with Nosdyn and Anya and they become allies. During this time Nosdyn realizes in order to defeat Lord Grendric he must become a Vampire himself...He agrees to do this. During the events of The Second War Nosdyn is turned into Vampirism by Velera and in turn, he bite sand turns Anya who becomes his first sireling.

The first battle with Lord Grendric ends in stale mate and Grendric flees vowing to return and end our Hero someday. Nosdyn prepares for that night.

During the course of his Vampirism Nosdyn has discovered he is the carrier of an blood god called Skotadi.

Skotadi manifests because of his Blue Orc nature, Nosdyn had an incredibly rare genetic marker that essentially allows Nosdyn to exist in harmony with Skotadi.

In the human's tongue Skotadi roughly means Fear.

In the current progression, Anya came to grips with her Vampiric nature she belonged formerly to a Duchy of Vampire Slayers and contacted her family with regards to accepting her new nature...

And so as The Second War with Lord Grendric started, The Third War began. The former Duke of Anya's Duchy, indeed her very Father, declares war openly on Nosdyn's House. Nosdyn's concubines and allies refer to his house as The House of Skotadi. During the events of The Third Great War. Anya in contact with her Brother, the group hit it off and become allies but her Father attacks killing many of Nosdyn's allies and capturing Velera. Months later, Anya's brother returns with Velera alive as per Nosdyn's plea.

That leads us to the looming war with Lord Grendric and the final battle...
