The Folklore section of Chronicles RP is an encyclopedia written collaboratively by the players of Chronicles RP. Since Folklore operates as a wiki, any member is capable of editing almost any article by clicking on the Edit link.
Browsing Folklore
Folklore contains information separated into many different areas, such as Lore, Characters, and more. Most articles pertain to the world of Chronicles RP. Feel free to browse the various areas now.
You can also search for articles via the search button at the top right of the page. You can click the button, type in your keyword, and press search. Keep in mind that this searches the forum as well - so attempting an Advanced Search by clicking the "More..." button would allow you to focus your search exclusively to the Wiki. A search website such as Google could also be used when necessary.
You could leave a note in a page's discussion page if you wish. You can do this by clicking the Comments button on top of the page.

Editing
Any member can edit pages (provided that they're not protected). Just click the Edit link at the top of any page if you think it needs an improvement or new information. You don't need anything special to begin adding to the Wiki. If you want to experiment first, head over to Sandbox. To practice editing a specific page, just copy and paste its source code into the sandbox and make the changes you wish to experiment with.
You may edit a page without approval from the Author (with the exception of Characters). However, it may be polite to discuss this with them first and if you're adding to the Lore it should be to reflect something seen in character with suitable references to RP threads. Contact staff if there is a dispute on the content of an article that cannot be settled through discussion. You can initiate this by reporting an article.

Policies
There are a few policies and guidelines that should be looked at. A few that will always apply:- Folklore Rules in the board's ChroniclesRP Terms and Rules apply to the Wiki.
- Maintain a neutral point of view, which means that Wiki pages should not be biased and should represent differing views on a subject fairly - similar to how Wikipedia presents content.
- Civility. The Wiki works via cooperation and consensus and thus requires respect and civility. Please assume good faith when you disagree with someone, stay cool, and talk things over civilly. It is good practice to provide an edit summary explaining your changes to assist others with noticing and accepting your changes. If you find that your edits get removed or modified, wait a moment before reinstating them. First check the page history and page comment page.
