Yulsel of the Mirminuk is a young elf of minor nobility in his clan. He travels the Steppe north of Dornoch, hunting, trading, and, when traveling merchants are unduly rude or aggressive, opportunistically caravan robbing.

Appearance

Yulsel stands head and shoulders above most of his clan at 6'7". He is broad, with sun-worn tan skin and neatly kept facial hair. He wears thick trousers under bright outer robes that can be pulled up quickly when he mounts a horse. On his left shoulder is a leather pauldron for his eagle, Wolfsbane, to perch upon when she so chooses. On his belt hands a kilij in a scabbard gilded with fine designs as well as a richly embroidered leather glove for his right hand, a family heirloom. When in shade, he sometimes removes his headscarf, revealing long black braided hair and a left ear shorn off in its entirety.

Skills and Abilities

A proficient tracker and hunter, and master of the art of falconry, Yulsel has a deft hand and mind for practical work. He has no interest in the arts or philosophy, but knows his strategy and the navigation of politics. He knows some of the magic of healing and blessing. He lead ceremonies and construct runic enchantments to bring favor in hunt or battle as well as to cleanse wounds, poisons, or ill-spirits.

Personality

Yulsel is a man of few words. His temper changes quickly, and he is as quick to anger as he is sorrow or joy. Being wellborn himself, with a great warrior for father and a medicine woman for mother, he is sure of himself and unafraid to challenge those who present themselves as above him. He has an uncompromising view of his own honor and courtesy, refusing to steal from or hurt those weaker than him, unless they impugn his character or fail to show proper deference.
