It is well known that Drow culture is dominated by cutthroat noble females and powerful priestesses of Maelfazan. A matriarchal society through and through, men such as Trevan Soithiel are little more than useful tools. This is the life he was born into. This is the life that he has learned to navigate.

A son of a noble, Trevan Soithiel carries the family name, and has brought as much honor as a male-born child could hope to bring to his family. He is the youngest born of his family, sixth in line, and the only male. As such, his life has been dominated by military training and magic school, since most male nobles are used as part of the house guard, and because he has shown a natural aptitude for magic.

Trevan is tall among the Drow, with the racial norm of a lithe build. He has white hair, which he keeps cut short, and dark ash-blue colored skin. His eyes are a light gray, and have a penetrative quality. Trevan also has the elongated ears one would expect for a man of his race. He is often in well crafted light armor, flexible so that he is uninhibited. He travels with a single sword at his right hip, and a large leather bound book at his left.
