Biography & Lore
Known to her friends as Arie, at the age of 39 she was picked up by The Vai Ilnarem trading vessel and for 5 years she has been by the side of the human who pulled her out of the water Amades. He jumped off his own boat to go back for her, as she was trapped inside a sinking ship. Ever since then he’s not been able to get rid of her, not that he’d want to now, the two have become strong friends and compliment each other’s work in the Order of the Veil. Tadarie joined the order of the veil the moment she heard about it. Traveling around and solving mysteries, she was a natural fit and being a good tracker she assists Amades in getting to where they need to go, or finding what they need to find. Becoming an honorary Vos Manti to boot, the western islanders loved her charms and enjoyment of life.
There are other motives for her wanting to keep moving, not that she’d ever tell you. Every single one of her family and most of her extended kin have been killed in mysterious circumstances. She had some minor title of nobility at one point but wants no part of it now and fled rather than become a victim herself. Living on the run in various cities ever since the age of fifteen, which is very young for an elf. She fled with her human aunt who sadly also died in her bed from food poisoning, not that Arie ever believed that. Either Arie lives in the unluckiest family in the world, or all the accidental deaths they have suffered over the years is some kind of pattern she has to avoid at all costs. Keeping moving has been a good defense so far.
