Muirin "Mistral"
Appearance
As far as swashbucklers tend to go, Muirin fits the bill. Long auburn hair frames his face, which is somewhat weather-beaten and bears a number of scars. His eyes are a dark shade of green, and they can never quite sit still, insisting on taking in every bit of information they can. His shoulders are broad, sloping down into a relaxed demeanor that is aided in intimidation factor by a serious amount of lean muscle. All around, pretty handsome if you're into that sort of thing.
Skills and Abilities
Silver-Tongued Scoundrel- Muirin is well versed in the abilities of both a mariner and a swashbuckler, able to man the ropes of a ship’s rigging with equal capability to tugging the heartstrings of those around him. While he’s by no means an exceptionally strong nor durable individual, he makes up for these shortcomings through agility and cunning. With the ability to move quickly and think even quicker, he has honed his skills with a saber to the point of being a potentially lethal adversary to even masterful duelists.
Tempestuous Arcana- Though uneducated in the world of magic, Muirin has a natural gift for it. His innate arcane abilities primarily deal with what he’s dubbed ‘storm magic’, allowing him to channel lightning in an immediate range. While this has proven useful for surprising unsuspecting opponents, the more useful side of his abilities deal with the manipulation of elemental air. While less glamorous in their spectacle, these powers make him an asset to any crew he serves on, forcing the wind to back their sails in times of need.
Unabashedly Observant- Muirin is a highly perceptive individual, capable of picking out details of terrain and people alike. He's a quick read on gauging those around him, able to pick out strengths, weaknesses, and even nervous ticks after only a cursory interaction. However, he often assumes he knows more than he actually does, and the recklessness resultant of this has often landed him into substantial trouble.

Personality
Although he’s a far cry from a good person, Muirin is not quite so terrible as some of the other folk in his profession. When on the clock, he likes to present himself as a no-nonsense mercenary, capable of doing just about anything if the money’s good enough. However, when he isn’t working on roughing someone up, the man’s true character starts to show through the shell of professionalism. He is a jovial person at times like these, rejoicing in vice and joie de vivre in just about any place that will allow him. While sometimes unyielding and stubborn at first glance, those who manage to enter his closest circle will find him to be kind and loyal to his last.
In spite of what good qualities he may bear, the man still has his problems. Chief among these flaws is his greed, which spurs him to seek out wealth and power however he can. This urge is normally quelled in the form of payment for services rendered, usually of the less-than-savory variety. He is hardly capable of holding onto this wealth, though, usually feeding it back into the vices which have kept him firmly lodged in his current way of life.
