Movrin
"Death is the epiphany of life, the first great end and beginning. It is a gift akin to life. Improper death, like improper life, is a curse, which should be reserved for one's greatest enemies."
Appearance
Refined and brute at the same time. Movrin is delicate in the same way he is strongly built, human in the same way he is elvish, unusual in the same way he is mundane.
He is ginger and almost unnaturally pale, which goes together well enough to seem normal. His gestures are narrow and controlled, his posture always straight and steps flowing like a river, carrying a certain elegance. But above all it is his voice that charms: low, quiet, but clear and enthralling as a deep stream.

Skills and Abilities
Strengths
Undertaking: As his main profession requires, Movrin is familiar with different burial traditions, magical rituals and more pragmatic aspects of undertaking.
Familiarity with death: Movrin is generally very close with anything that might involve death or the dead. He knows its main causes, different ways to die and be killed, the myths and legends concerning death. Oftentimes he is able to sense any intent concerning death nearby (as the wish to kill or desire to die).
Necromancy: Movrin is familiar with necromancy, although he rarely actually uses his knowledge to raise dead, he deems it improper. Most of his skills are aimed at undertaking, securing a safe passage for the soul as well as the body. He can contact recently deceased people.
Education: Movrin likes to call himself a scholar, and it is easy to believe his words, because he may hold a conversation on complex magic as well as philosophy or even mathematics. He is well-educated and almost exudes this fact.
Blood magic: Movrin is, to some extent, familiar with some kinds of blood magic, mostly as supporting rituals in his main discipline of necromancy. He can be a rather poor healer if necessary, as well as slightly better killer. He rarely uses his magic offensively.
Rune magic: Once his main course in College of Elbion, now rarely used by him. Movrin has extensive knowledge in this discipline, but his lack of active practice outside of some very particular areas has made him rusty.

Weaknesses
Poor combatant: Movrin doesn't like using his magic for fighting and he has almost no skill with any weapons. He isn't completely helpless, but he doesn't like brute kinds of violence. If he has to engage in battle, he will very rarely go for the kill.
Dark obsessions: Obviously, death isn't the favorite subject of most people. Because of this Movrin is often excluded from the general society, shunned by some and disliked by others. Even people that are more open-minded usually have hard time relating to his interests. In some places his skill-set might even be considered illegal.
Solidarity: Movrin's way of life doesn't often include long-term company. He has difficulty relating to other people, even if he understands them well enough, and his general personality isn't the most accommodating for most friendships. He might not often accept it himself, but Movrin does generally feel quite lonely.

Personality
Dry, distant and sharp-witted. For the most part.
Despite what you might think, you are probably far less likely to die in the company of this man than in that of others. Movrin sees death as something sacred, although he is keen on learning anything about it, he only kills if it is "proper", meaning that it is following his own inner code of justice. He believes that death should be as beautiful as birth, and killing for the sake of it is dirty and sickening, not in the physical, but moral sense.
He cherishes the thought of his own death, although he never rushes towards it. He believes in good timing before all.
However, Movrin doesn't avoid the company of the living, on the contrary, he is always happy for a worthy companion in his never-ending journey towards knowledge and perfection.
