Skull and Bones trailer

Born to parents who were both slaves, a hard life and twisted upbringing in the slave capital has shaped the young slave boy into a hard man and brutal pirate. However underneath the rock solid exterior lies a gentle man hoping to one day make a good living for himself and the one thing he holds most dearly in his life…

Appearance

Tall, well built, and bearing many scars and tattoos, he can be an intimidating sight at first glance. His cold gaze and hard face certainly doesn't help much. Though he can often sport a bright smile that sometimes helps to break the striking appearance.

He usually adorns simple clothes and a weathered captain's coat, complemented with a saber, knife and tomahawk on his person. But when not tending to his duties as a captain, he often wears other articles of clothing varying in quality and value.

Skills and Abilities

En garde: A very good fighter, with or without a weapon. He can handle himself in many situations.

Absolute unit: His tall and built stature isn't for naught. His strength can rival that of professional soldiers.

Pain tolerance: Spending his childhood years as a slave and his teenage years as a pirate, he doesn't feel pain as easily as most.

Street smart: While he might not have received a formal education, he is literate and has gained a lot of wisdom in his life. Spending more than a decade at sea has also made him a formidable sailor.

Personality

While not working, Morgan is relaxed and easy to get along with. Not afraid to crack a joke or laugh along with a story, one might even think of him as a normal individual. However he is opportunistic and, when on the job, likely as cruel as his former masters if not more.

As a pirate he is ruthless and brutal, not backing down from a fight if he is certain he could achieve victory. When it comes to deals and money, he isn’t afraid to break a deal if he feels ripped off. Thankfully his bad habits are kept in check by unshakable ideals.

With friends and family he will go above and beyond to help them. He is also very strict with his professions as a slaver, merchant and passenger transport, not letting them get confused with each other. Deals struck by him are also quite likely to be fair unless provoked. There is also a deeply buried wish to carve out an honest life for him and his daughter who he saves most of his earnings for.

Biography & Lore

Born in Cerak At’Thul to two slaves for parents. At six years old he was subjected to the same hard work his parents were forced to do. They tried their hardest to raise him right and give him some form of a childhood, but it all went out the window when his mother died at the hands of a master after standing up to him. With only his father left at the age of 10, their views on the world started to shift. After planning for two years, they broke free of the place and managed to lead a revolt on a slave ship transporting them.

The slaves on the ship took control and sailed to Teth, where they managed to properly escape their old life. Morgan and his father, Moses, took the ship and started a life of piracy when the honest lifestyle didn’t work out. The crew of the “Weeping Breeze” primarily targeted slave ships in the beginning, freeing the slaves and enslaving their masters to sell them. But years of doing this and helping seemingly ungrateful victims warped their minds. Soon they worked as slavers themselves when piracy, transport and cargo shipping weren’t paying well enough.

Eventually his father passed on and he inherited the ship. He kept up the life he led with his father and eventually met a girl in his journeys. They had a child together, however the mother soon grew hypocritically tired of the pirate’s life and left, abandoning Morgan and their child.

Wanting the best for his little girl, he sent her to live in Alliria with a friend. Majority of his money is either sent to her to pay for a good education or saved up for future prospects. While he sees her every few months, he hopes to retire from his life as a pirate and start a new life with his daughter...
