Born of the Abtati tribe of Mari-Kuul, he was only an infant when the events that forever changed their tribe took place. Many were killed or stolen away into slavery, and Ihtizaz was left orphaned. Raised by his tribesmen, it was only natural that when the one called Laru'Dahl came and taught them to defend themselves, and more, he took part in this. Having learned the ways of a warrior and assassin since the days of his youth, Ihtizaz is among one of the most respected of Ashuanar's Sipahi elites.
