Appearance

Hamund is tall among dwarves, yet short among most other races. He looks rather old, but oftentimes claims to be rather youthful and spry given his age. His hands are large and covered with pockmarks and scars from alchemic experimentation, and he keeps a long, gray beard in spite of his frequent lab accidents.

Skills and Abilities

Apothecary - Hamund is a talented medicine-man. Capable of treating both long term diseases and the wounds of combat, he is often sought for his ability to alleviate most mundane injuries. If there’s anything he can’t fix, well, the patient is probably doomed anyhow.

Alchemy - While useful in creating medicine and other such agents vital for treating his patients, Hamund has frequently gone into the ‘madder’ side of alchemy. He is quite talented at creating most goods that would normally require extensive study at the College of Elbion, though he tends to stray more towards creations of the medical or explosive variety rather than the seemingly all-encompassing ‘potions’. Eugh.

Personality

Gruff yet kind, Hamund wouldn’t exactly have stayed in business for as long as he has without a good bit of bedside manner. Most humans who know of Hamund have known him from their youngest days, as though he had always been part of the city’s background. What most may not realize, however, is that there’s a less-than-light side to the kindly old man.

Biography & Lore

What’s there to say about an old dwarven doctor? He’s led a long life and has many stories- and scars -to show for it. While his fighting days are most certainly behind him, he’s never lost his race’s spirit.
