Skills and Abilities

Undead Nature: A K'i'ik'el doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.

Immunization: All K'i'ik'el are resistant if not immune to the effects of poison or disease.

*Gift of P'isib: As a K'i'ik'el they are cursed to watch times change, but to never change with time.

Savage Ability: The K'i'ik'el are naturally much stronger than their appearance belies.

Spatial Walk: At will they can casually climb, walk, or run up or along walls or ceilings.

Blood Attuned: They have animalistic senses which apply to their sense of smell, sight, and hearing. The K'i'ik'el would use these senses to hunt by blood. They can smell blood, see blood, and hear blood.

Black Ritual: The undead body of a K'i'ik'el is trapped in a time where they are free from age, illness, or disease, any injury is quickly healed as if it never occurred but at the cost of blood.

Savage Gift: All K'i'ik'el possess retractable claws and fangs that are as strong as the individual K'i'ik'el. The fangs are designed to slide into flesh and aid in draining blood from the host, or tearing flesh from bone. The claws were designed for climbing and gutting their prey, but were mostly meant to have effect on other K'i'ik'el and is the traditional weapon of choice whenever a K'i'ik'el is called to duel. It is another one of the only weapons that can bypass their regenerating ability.

The long dark: Able to control a type of dark energy that is summoned from her gauntlets at the cost of her blood. It drains energy from souls and life energy to feed its power, able to act almost like a liquid it can form whips, tentacles, pointed spears and even a thick dome like shield if needed. The more souls she collects and the more living energy around her she allows it to consume the more powerful it becomes.

Bastellen's Hands: The gauntlets she wears allow her to store more Life energy and even allows her to corrupt and use her own life energy via tapping her blood with small needles in the gauntlet she can trigger when needed to increase a spells potency or increase the strength of her void magic.

Necromancy: speaking with spirits of any willing, but must linger. any spirits that pass into an afterlife are not reachable. requires the blood and hair of the individual to be reached and requires Luna to cut her left hand and
sacrifice her own blood as well. the longer the summoning the more her wound will bleed into the circle.

Hunger of the Void: While susceptible to magic attacks her void energy latched as drains the power from many spells either fueling her own power or redirecting it back at the caster depending on the circumstance.Meaning the longer a battle with a powerful mage lasts the stronger she becomes. While she can be drained of power and wounded by silver and blessed iron, Steel seems to have little if any effect along with other weapons and poisons.

Archery: As an assassin and bodyguard she is quite profecient with bows though favors a crossbow and is quite the crack shot.

CQC: effective in close quarter combat, and will often try to force combat to be close as her daggers can do the most damage and is where she is most confident.

Aura of Fear and Decay: Those around her feel unease and deep seeded dread for a few moments after entering her AOE.

Spirit Walk: By allowing her god to take control of her body she can fight much better but her mortal body can only handle it for short amount of time anywhere from a minute to an hour at most, and when done she loses consciousness with no vital signs for up to 3 days. depending on how long she uses it.

Weaknesses:

To Kill a Monster:
K'i'ik'el are able to regenerate most wounds, but silver, fire, radiant and magical damage can cancel out this ability.

Blood Reliance: Blood is their only source of nutrients and is the fuel for their undead bodies and their regeneration ability. If they were to become bloodless they would be weakened and like a normal human, without any supernatural abilities.

The World Is Bland: Food has no flavor, nothing stays down, no nutrients is gained from eating regular food.

Closeness to the Master: Separation from her gauntlets besides physical pain, and emotional stress, will instantly cause the darkness to vanish.

Everyone has their limits: Drawing blood into her gauntlets for increased power wears her down much more quickly, and should only be used in extreme circumstances.

Personality
Elise is quite a manic person. Always chatty and cheerful no matter if shes relaxing drinking in the pub or singing a jovial tune as she slowly cuts a screaming bandits limbs off into a boiling pot to serve to his equally disfigured friends. Truly a woman of madness, death, and undying, unwavering, loyalty to her master first and anyone who holds her contract second. Once given a mission by her god and master Elise can not be bought, bullied, bargained or reasoned with. She will serve it to its completion or her death. Which ever comes first. Contracts are more of a grey area and depend on how much coin and how much she likes the person she is protecting.

Biography & Lore

Elise was a talented girl born to a wealthy merchant and a noble mother living and learning in Fal' Addas. Her father was a wealthy shipping merchant being in charge of many vessels. One day he and her mother set sail for Elbion and they never came back. Tails of a pirate raid...a true tragedy...
Elise didnt hear as she raced for the boats. Only 27 and the head of her fathers business empire she put every resource she could to find who killed her parents. She burned through every gold piece and ship she could waging a war on every bilge rat from Fal' Addas to Cerak At'Thul. Leaving a trail of blood in her wake.

Soon she had no resources left. So she took the ships she had left and turned them on merchants and pirates alike, no longer fueled to find her parents though that was how she justified it. She was driven by the lust for blood. The lust to hurt others as she had been, and build her wealth.
This behavior and recklessness meant family and friends alike fell away and left her alone as she was finally stranded when her ship sank after a nasty brush with a fellow pirate ship leaving her clinging to a trunk as she was tossed ashore by the waves. Where she washed up not even she truly remembers. Because as she opened the trunk after washing ashore she found a black scroll, and that was when she first heard the whispers.
They guided her to a small cave. inside was a simple alter. A stone coffin sat in front of it with an elaborate set of black steel gauntlets rested atop it. On the right side wall a skeleton sat still clutching a black tome with his lifeless claws. "Take the gauntlets child. be my hand. you have a lust for blood and gold. I bring you both." he said smoothly as Elise approached slowly "who are you..." she asked still under his spell walking forward inching her hands closer to the gauntlets hand holes.

"Your parents can be avenged but thats not the real reason you kill is it..." it spoke drifting lazily behind her. " I know why you tell people you kill. ties it up really nice for you doesnt it...and im sure that was the reason you started....but you found you liked it didnt you.." he chuckled as Elise stood entranced. "...I can bring you enough blood and gold to drown the seas themselves. do you accept?" he asked warmly. "I do.." As she spoke black energy shot from the gauntlets wrapping around her wrists and pulled her close forcing her hands into the gauntness as they clicked into place.
Hidden needles sunk into her skin and brought out some blood. "the deal is struck." came the voice. now an icy shell of the warm tone it had had. Soon she found she couldnt leave the cave and it was extremely painful to take the gauntlets on and off before eventually leaving them on mostly accept to sleep. Years passed as she grew in the cave for 3 years. Her only company her master.
She trained and meditated sleeping in the cave and eating fish she caught when her master allowed her to leave the cave. Finally she left the cave. "You are ready child." he spoke. "I will call upon you when i need you. Do what you will until then with my blessing. Should you need me, you need only call."
Soon she found her way to a shrine deep in the tundra. After meeting Luna the high priestess there she became bonded with her and protects her viciously as a Dreadweaver. After an incident in Elbion She was transformed into a K'i'ik'el by Alexis Armon of the house of Armon. ever since she has had to come to grips with her new abilities and the consequences of those abilities. She has taken a disciple Syn, a blind victim of abuse at the hands of her father and mother, under her wing and raised her to be High Dreadweaver. Someone of even greater importance than herself.
