Divina Rosenstern
A very new member of the Merchant Council, Divina aspires to see her House flourish above all others in both wealth and notoriety. Seeking improvement of all ways to elevate her social standing to the highest echelons, as well as broaden the trade of her family's expanded brand of exporting goods, hers is a restless, tireless pursuit of all the finest things in life, whatever she deigns them to be. Being labeled the 'Black Widow of the Keep', it is said the two husbands she has left behind in life for death were not accidental, but politically used and convenient in their deaths; such a mystery has yet to be solved, however, despite the plausibility of such a rumor.
Appearance
Slightly above human average height and below average weight, Divina seems a slender, withdrawn woman, often of few words and sharp light blue eyes. Though a noblewoman in her own right, she often dresses in high-quality practical clothes of her family's own brand mercantile, forgoing 'proper' attire for a Lady unless absolutely necessary.
Skills and Abilities
Magic- Through professional tutorship, Divina has some control over the element of water.
Political Savvy- When entering a room, one must be able to sense the general mood to work to advantage.
A Good Eye- A sharp sense of sight and of a bargain, the role of a good merchant is to know what is good for business and what is foul.
Linguistic- Adept in Common and Trader, she is also a keen study of other languages, and creating her own ciphers. She has also recently learned and adapted Elvish, Dwarvin and Halfling.
Sharp Tongue- Capable of cutting a person to pieces or smoothing the atmosphere, the woman prides herself on her dignitary savvy, especially amongst Alliria's biggest and brightest.

Personality
Calculating, sharp, witty, with a detached amusement at life's daily inconveniences. Very little seems to faze her, and despite her age there seems to be a wealth of learned wisdom behind those eyes. Having been immersed in the world of politics and shadows, she is adjusted to the life of subtlety and deception, and thrives off useful company in which to expand her ventures.
Biography & Lore
The oldest daughter of an appearing well-to-do nobleman and his merchant wife, Divina was born and raised on trading ships and learned the merchant trade from a very tender age. The eldest of three daughters, it was up to her to expand her mother's own inherited business of supplying ships, and branch into import and export of their own goods, with the Rosenstern brand. Silks and other mercantile branched into granary with the marriage of her first husband, Willem, who unfortunately passed before their second anniversary.
Her second marriage, however, was claimed for love, and branched her family's wealth further into the trade of furs and wines, of which the latter was owned by her second husband, Joshan, whose own untimely demise was at fault of a freak storm and a poorly-made merchant vessel. Twice widowed and still young, Divina's hopes no longer rest on furthering the family, but in broadening their expanses for her sisters and their own families.
After all, is not blood thicker than water?
