Blair Rennick
Blair was born with a condition that leaves her bedridden if overexerted, and rather than offer her up to the Academy only to be slaughtered, she was cared for as a child until her strength built up. Now, she serves as a member of the Stormguard and is still learning how to weaponise her magic of ice to protect her family and her distant cousins, House Pirian.
Appearance
Shorter than average, it was believed her sickness as a child had hindered any further growth, but that does not hold Blair back in terms of physical fitness. Able to keep up with the Stormguard, if using her magic in regular intervals, it allows her to keep a healthy glow to her otherwise pale skin. Prone to freckles, that scatter across her cheekbones and nose, and over her shoulders and arms.The Rennicks are distant cousins of the Pirians, but have had marriages between the Houses over history. The Rennicks usually have lighter features in comparison to the dark locks and complexion known by the Pirians. Blair's hair has brightened under the sun to a bright silver shade, and inherited the pale green eyes of her mother.
Skills and Abilities
Dedication to building her strength has given Blair a healthy body. Muscles have been toned in shape and often goes on runs to keep a routine of activeness. She excels as a Stormguard in the physical sense despite her frailty as a child, but it is her ability to wield ice that sets her apart. Of course, without the instruction of a trained Dreadlord, Blair relied on working by herself, but had spent a few summers in Elbion to help sharpen her technique.Revolution having passed, Blair has begun to show intererest in seeking some help, but first would prefer to make alliances and friends before asking for any personal help.
House Rennick
The middle child, with three older brothers, two younger sisters, and one younger brother, Blair has not known a moment of peace in their household. Not until she began to show interest serving House Pirian as a Stormguard like her second eldest brother, Octavian.The Rennicks reside a couple hours outside of Vel Numera, and oversee the largest fields of vegetables and crops that the Pirians own and distribute.
