An island fortress located off the Cortosi Coast, and along the string of islands known as Aina O Ka La, Blackwatch is the home of the notorious Stalkers of Liadain. The fort gains its name for its strategic location in facing outwards to watch over the distant Black Bay. Although, the fortress has long since shed the responsibility of its watch, as the former inhabitants are long since deceased.

Those garrisoning the keep are well-trained fighters and seem to vary in species. They rarely set sail with any intentions other than getting to the mainland to fulfill their sworn duty, or to conduct trade with local merchants for food, raw materials, etc.

Although the whispers of war have returned to the forefront of politics, it is unlikely the Stalkers of Liadain will abandon their ways. They remain isolated, and only entertain politics for the sake of their mission on the continent. As they have always been before, the gates of Blackwatch remain closed to outsiders.
