From a butcher's son to a Guard Captain, Albert Brigge had become something of a household name when he helped lead a Guard rebellion against the former corrupt Guard Captain: Cul de Louf in a fated battle that is now known as the Bloody Gate. Albert slain his former mentor and was rewarded his position by the Elbion government.

Twenty years Albert has served faithfully as a proud guard of Elbion. It wasn’t as glamorous as being a knight something he dreamed of becoming as a child but going from a butcher’s boy to the youngest person to become Guard Capitan. That was the proudest moment of Albert's life at age 20 this was his chance to make a difference. However, Albert's time as Guard Captain has been mired with bureaucracy, corruption, and incompetence.

Now the Guard Captain has to deal with a new generation of Guards who much rather go taverns and get drunk and go dicing rather than do their duty. It was a hard life but a life that Albert is willing to shoulder. Regardless of the problems he's faced, Albert is committed to Elbion and his guardsmen even if they are a bunch of lazy good for nothings.

Standing at 6'2, Albert possesses a stocky build and a plain, lean face. He has round black eyes, a flat nose and a thin mouth. Albert's face usually in a perpetual frown (though given the nonsense that he has to put up with the guards under his command it's hard to blame him.) He wears a Silverite armor with a pair of shorts and a metal cap with a feather on it. Albert usually has his Silverite Broadsword: Beatrix behind him fastened by a brown leather strap. The Broadsword is infused with magical runes which not only can cut through common armor but also allow Albert to access "Sword Art" techniques.
