The Underrealm was a place of wonders that few could imagine outside of it's true, native, denizens.

One such wonder was the Cathedral that could be found within the capital city of the Drow. It's stonework was masterful, it's stained glass tasteful and it's size imposing on a very real level. Designed as much to showcase the Drow's adoration for their Goddess as it was to prove the might of the Queen who had ordered it's construction all of those years ago.

It's doors were open wide to allow those who could not fit within the temple to see inside. So that they could gaze upon the moment that the Dominion of the Drow formed their alliance with the Kingdom of the Goblins, see history being made right before their eyes. The great and the good of both Kingdom and Dominion were seated with pride inside, given the respect that they deserved.

Some chairs were, naturally, enlarged and reinforced for the well-wishers of differing sizes.

At the alter the High Priestess droned on to the conclusion of the vows between Griag the Goblin King and Harinara, of House Auceus. Xunari, standing as Best Woman for her family member, stood beside the soon-to-be-married couple and tried not to look like she was counting the seconds until the cathedral would be cleared of chairs and the feast brought out.

Harinara stood with both of her hands held in one of Griag's as the Priestess came to her final vow for them both.

"... and do you, Harinara Auceus, pledge to see this union of self, soul and song through to the end of your days?"

Xunari pointedly did NOT glare at Harinara to accept quickly. Instead she looked pointedly at the tattoo that she had painstakingly placed upon Harinara's left hand and forearm. It was, perhaps surprisingly, just a tattoo but Harinara didn't have to know it wasn't a death rune array keyed to explode if she ever broke her marriage vows.

As if runes could look so much like flowers - honestly.

"I accept this pledge as my own."

Well that was Harinara's part done.

"And do you, King Griag of the Goblins, pledge the same?"

All that stood between Xunari and the promised land was Griag's acceptance. He accepted and she, and everyone else, could go to the fabled and most hallowed of wedding traditions; the free bar.

Erza watched the ceremony passively. He wasn't foolish enough to believe this was anything but a political binding, but also wasn't naïve enough to think this was out of the ordinary in any way. He personally found goblins distasteful, but they were useful and having their claws in their king meant more control over the unruly creatures.
Still, his presence wasn't necessary. He had no reason to be here except for the invitation he received no doubt as a formality considered to his rank. The commander, Xunari Auceus, was marrying off... Her sister, was it? he didn't know for sure. But whatever she was before she was now a political tool.

When the ceremony was concluded he went and availed himself of the free bar. They should have these open before the ceremony to make the long ordeal more bearable.
He ordered something phosphorescent blue and took a seat in the corner of the room, sipping the drink slowly while his violet eyes clinically scanned the the other guests.

What a glorious few days it was not only that Griag managed to secure an alliance with the rising Drow Kingdom giving him a powerful ally and more avenues to expand his Goblin Kingdom. In addition, the Goblin King was promised some of the Queen's conquered lands. Since their existence, Goblins have been shunned, spat upon and forced to live underground. While it was preferable, getting fertile land that the surface eat, sleep and shit on would be a boon.

Of course nothing would be complete without Griag's lovely wife: Harinara oh how she radiated beauty and grace. She made the perfect Queen and one that will symbolize unity between the two Kingdoms. This marriage was purely political sure but Griag couldn't helped but be awed by her beauty. His servants were enthralled by Harinara as well to the point where Griag ordered executions over the past few days to hammer home that no one is to look at his wife other than the King.

Goblins and cleanliness go hand in hand as cheese to an lactose intolerant person but Griag's servants made sure to pretty him up using perfumes taken from raids. The Goblin gagged and coughed as his servants sprayed different kinds of perfume: Blueberry, Strawberry, some exotic stuff from Steppes. It all created hazy cloud of sweet and disgusting smells not fit for a Goblin! The Goblin servants sprayed Griag from face to balls and they popped almost every boil all over his body but it left scars on it.

The wedding was boring with the High Priestess droning on and on about some religious drabble he didn't care about. The Goblins worshipped their own Gods: The Stolen Gods as they were called the Original Goblins who tricked the Old Gods into trading their Godhood to them. Xunari insisted that this unification of the Kingdoms will be through Drow tradition. What hogwash! If these Elves start to shove their traditions down the Goblins throats, then Griag make sure that they would pay. It was an alliance not a take over!

The Goblin King began snoring loudly while he held Hariana's hands. All he wanted was to enjoy his wife. Hours upon hours of waiting and he can't take it anymore! Massive amounts of drool began streaming down his mouth as it landed on Harianra's face. Griag swayed back and forth as though he was about to collapse onto his wife. The Goblins who traveled with the Goblin King watched in horror as the Griag's belly hit Hariana's face.

" And do you, King Griag of the Goblins, pledge the same?"

Those words awakened Griag his eyes shot up immediately recognizing where he was. "Say what now?!" The Goblin King dug into ear taking out a ball of earwax that was the size of a human fist and flicked it to one of the Drow. "Whatever you said, sure I pledge lots of things can we kiss now or do we have more vows to say?!"

Who knew a marriage ceremony would be so boring?

Dhunbor was a great victory and they had gained a great political asset in the Duergar. This wedding marked the beginning of another great alliance that would expand the reach of the Dominion. Everyone here had fought their battles, had bled and killed together, had participated in the part of a movement that would build from the ground up.

Today’s event was welcome to anyone and no blades would be drawn. This also meant that Vyx was going to let loose a bit instead of being her usual serious self. She had already been drinking and had helped Xunari talk Harinara off the ledge. Besides, despite being ugly as sin, the Goblin King didn’t appear to be especially cruel.

Vyx took another swig from her flask as the vows were told. She almost stumbled into the hall, but she kept her composure for now. Instead of her usual armor, she was adorned in a long, black dress that trailed the ground behind her. She wore the garb of noble priestesses, and it was the first time she actually looked the part of a Queen. She felt uneasy being out of armor, but this occasion called for a more social environment.

Vyx could hear the Goblin King’s snoring in the middle of the ceremony and she couldn’t help but privately agree with the sentiments. She snickered to herself and finished off the flask, rising to stand when the Goblin king belched out a few words.

“And to a great alliance between our people!” She called out, not wanting to venture into what Harihana’s wedding night may look like. She could see the woman’s icy glare even from here, face splattered with goblin drool.

With that, the musicians gathered began to play and sing as male drow and other some goblins began to serve trays of drinks and snacks.

The cathedral was massive and ornate to the point of gaudiness. The gothic aesthetic of the drow was certainly something to be admired, and the obvious display of wealth and power made Lord Skavius Drytail feel very much at home. It was not as cluttered as his own keep, and the decorations all seemed to adhere to a singular theme and color scheme, but he could appreciate the desire to make it absolutely clear how many resources had gone into the construction of the place.

The extra wide and reinforced chairs on the goblin side of the aisle suited him well, and he was more familiar with their kind than the beautiful drow that sat opposite. In fact, he had pointedly ignored them until recently, when their activities had suddenly and dramatically increased in the Underrealm. Now they had become too influential to ignore, and a large city always offered opportunities for his particular brand of service.

A wedding seemed a perfect opportunity. Open guest lists, relaxed tongues and purses during celebrations, and a suitable excuse for coming around. Already a scant number of rous had scouted the city streets. No trouble had been caused and their profiles had been low, and they quickly returned from whence they came. The information they brought was not surprising. Every city had crime, which meant any city could be a foothold.

The drow were notoriously ruthless, however, and he had no intentions of making enemies. A controlled criminal population was beneficial to all, he would argue, but such subjects were best approached delicately. For the time being, there was no reason to rush into anything. Best see how the night plays out and bide his time.

The vows were said, the bond forged, and the parties retreated to the reception. Libations were flowing freely, and the rotund rous took his share of rich wine, viewing the revelries with beady black eyes.

Zathria was still coming to terms with the fact that she was here for a wedding. She didn't like events like this, but she reminded herself once again that this was about more than just a wedding. It was about an alliance between two peoples. An alliance that would make them both stronger.

On top of that, she was wearing a dress. That had taken a great deal of convincing. She'd tried to get out of it for all she was worth. She'd tried to argue for stylized, ornate armor or at least carrying her swords, but Vyx'aria had been insistent that not only did she need to wear a dress, but she would have no need for swords or armor. Finally, Zathria had grumpily relented.

That being said, she looked quite fine in her dress. It complemented her figure and although not exactly flexible it was far lighter than armor. She decided it wasn't all bad, though she'd never admit that aloud.

She plucked a drink from one of the passing waiters and sipped as she watched the festivities begin. She certainly didn't envy the poor girl who had been sold off for this alliance, but she'd witnessed drow females undergo worse things for the sake of power. Such was life and duty at times.

Davios would be wearing his full Black Guard armour. Standing on the sideline in the front of the room overlooking the venue. The handsome Drow never mingled in the affairs of politics and social parties. He had a reputation to upkeep within the Guard and had no desire to have his troop below him think of him as social and friendly. His stern yellow eyes would be watching over the crowd gathering around as his cape brushed among his heels. His white teased hair matching his white tattooed face and neck would keep to himself as the Drow watched on. He could hold his own in having a drink but never touched the dance floor or shook hands unless the Black Guard Commander or Queen introduced him. Shifting his gaze over to those laughing and smashing drinks together as the bond between the Goblins and Drow seemed to be set in stone.

Davios would watch the Queen Vyx'aria indulge in the ceremony along with spotting Zathria At'Arel showing up with a rather, disgusted look for being in something other than battle hardened steel. Regardless of the occasion it was nice to see them both let loose. Now the Goblin King...A..well pleasant creature that seemed to have spared no expense in trying to musk the grotesque odour from the bodies of his fellow kin. Finally Davios would change his gaze over to a young female waiter approaching with a tray and bowing slightly before offering service. "May I get you a drink Officer Agarwen?". His piercing yellow eyes would stare through her before finally speaking.

"Yes, a dark rum..Straight."

The young waiter would nod and scurry off to fetch him his drink. In the meantime he would sit back and watch the events of the night unfold..

Kaelen was reserved, sulking in the corner. Working for the Dominion had been something he had never foreseen for himself, yet here he was, nursing some kind of underdark ale. Drinking alone, amidst a room full of all varieties of duergar, dark elves, goblinoids, and even...a rat? Were-rat? There was so much...wrong with the entirety of the scene, from his in built Vel Anir sensibilities. It made him inwardly want to shudder, but he knew better.

Those thoughts were reactionary of course, and he sighed as he pushed them away. The Drow society, despite their matriarchal bents, were no worse then the Dreadlord hierarchies and traditions. In fact, he'd wager they were far more lenient and accepting, having a form candor that the humans in the Great Houses never would appreciate. Sure the dark elves had schemes upon schemes, having a form of Tel'tyalie'iant themselves. But they had a particular sense of honor even amidst the duplicitous attempts at turf wars and plans.

Still, Kaelen knew today was meant to be a day of celebration and pretending to not exist would do him no favors. Grabbing a fresh flask from a waiter, he downed...rum? and made his way further into the room. Meandering through the crowd, he eventually found himself near the front of the room. There the Black Guard of Vyxaria stood watch, mostly at attention. Kaelen pittied them some and stopped short of a particular soldier who had eyed him a couple times. He had over heard the request of dark rum, with the honorific of an officer. Truthfully, Kaelen felt like he should have known him off hand. The white tattoos were distinctive, even among the under races. Grabbing another cup of beer or something, Kaelen eyed elvish soldier up and downed the drink. He needed to break the tension with someone, and this poor sap seemed to be the easiest. The beer or ale...or whatever was good as Kaelen finished it fully with a quick flourish. That proved to be a mistake as he could not help himself, his courage fully on display. Looking at Agarwen, Kaelen smirked half drunkenly and whispered. "Seems to me that the hero tonight is the bride no? I sure wouldn't want the 'pleasure' of wrangling that goblin horde if you know what I mean"

What had been in that drink?

Ta'Kar wasn't one for parties but after the battle, he was ready to just enjoy himself and have a good time. It was a marriage between two people, the goblins and the drow. Nobody was shocked that it was mostly for alliances but it thankfully did offer a reprieve for anyone who didn't particularly care to bore themselves with politics. When he arrived, it was mostly in full swing, drow, and goblins alike picking off drinks from wandering trays and helping themselves.

Unlike his usual outfit, Ta'Kar wore a sleeveless silk tunic and pants that were the height of what he could afford with his position. It felt strange to him to not feel the usual heft of a blade or armor along his skin as it was almost a necessity in drow society. The drow stood there awkwardly as he just glanced around, wondering what to do with himself. He was mostly a scout and that afforded him the opportunity to be by himself but neglected his social skills.

Ta'Kar was about to wander off but that's when he felt a thin hand grab onto his wrist and spin him back around forcefully. It was a goblin woman, staring right at him with a bemused look in her eye, "Hello there sweetie!" She smiled a toothy grin while he just stared at her, "Hel-" Before he could continue, the woman pulled him in tight so they pressed together, "Unlike your fellow pointy ears, you don't have hair that stretches down to your ass, I like that. Let's dance pointy ears and enjoy ourselves!" Ta'Kar shook his head, "Please, I don't-"

The goblin didn't care for his opinion and dragged him to the dance floor with an iron grip. The only thing the drow could do to help himself was to grab a drink and down it before he arrived at the dance floor with her. When they did, the goblin spun back around and grabbed onto his waist with one hand and his hand with her other. She led him through a dance that was completely unknown to him but quite common for her kind, it involving a lot of hopping and jumping that resulted in him looking like a fool compared to her.

Nesipheia was, as usual, late to the party, but just as eager to arrive.

Silver-grey scales of her lower torso flexed and writhed with graceful movement as she slithered along through the tall archways. Truth be told, she never bothered with weddings; her adoptive parents used to keep such rituals a hushed topic of reverence, something that she never fully understood. But brought into the fold of her people, aiding the Drow, and now celebrating a wedding were all new things to the young Naga; she intended to enjoy as much as she was able.

Long, dark hair had been braided back in delicate, small plaits which banded into one large one, decorated with small white flowers. The tan of her torso and upper body was complemented by a long scarlet dress type of material with a Mandarin collar, edged and embroidered in a flashing gold. Unlike many of her counterparts, Nesi prided herself her bright clothing and long, gleaming coils, which were polished to a sheen like greyed onyx. So many here she did not know... Drow and Goblins intermingled equally, but there was one she fully intended to see.

Scales hissed against the stone floor as she wound her way towards the Queen; it seemed there were others there, intending to give their well-wishes as well, and to each of them she graced with a flirty flash of bright, bemused eyes.

If there were any, the guard would perhaps as though to block her passage. If they would, she would but merely smile towards the woman from her given distance, giving a low bow.

"Your grace," she spoke in a sibilant tone, full lips parting to a warm, graceful smile. "I congratulate you on ssuch a union; may we be blesssed with many fortunes." A common grace, indeed, but she was here to drink, to rub shoulders...

And perhaps find a new squeeze for the night.

Drow weddings were strange.

He'd been invited as a formality, of course, but he'd come nonetheless. He was genuinely curious of Drow culture and customs and while Naghoon ceremonies were often considered very formal affairs, even the most stuffy and rigid happenings were far less formal than what he attended.

Steel and leather armor had been traded for the fur, cashmere, and silks of the steppes. He wore a blue Naghoon robe, almost akin to a caftan, made of cashmere and bound with slivered clasps. Around his waist a gold, silken sash was tied complete with strings of carved beads while a hat of soft, sable fur sat atop his head. From the top of his head to his fine, leather shoes he looked the image of a Naghoon Khagan in formal regalia. A wealthy and powerful ruler of the steppes.

Yet despite this image, he wanted his armor back. Or at least his regular attire. The robe itched, the shoes pinched, and the hat chafed and made his scalp overly hot. He missed the familiar heaviness of his armor and the weight of his sword at his hip, but he knew there wasn't much he could do about the situation. Sometimes the Khagan had to lead his men in battle. Sometimes the Khagan had to sit through strange, overly formal ceremonies of foreigners to strengthen an alliance.

Besides, at least he wasn't the one marrying a goblin.

He stood as the ceremony ended and spotted the Drow Queen, Vyx'aria, in the crowd. Knowing few others and seeking some semblance of familiarity in a sea of oddities, he carefully made his way over.

"I am… hmm… unfamiliar with your ceremonies and customs. Is the length normal for your people?" he asked, his Common heavily accented, but clear after many months of determination and meticulous practice. "I was not certain where to put marriage gifts also."

Bronni Strakeln was unsure who to approach for the simple reason that he was too drunk on this Drow fermented mushroom wine to differentiate between the Queen and the Bride. Honestly his mind was in the gutter, too, and completely disregarding any etiquette he suddenly called "ROLEGG!" and then giggled softly as he added "Keen-Ear" under his breath. He would never forget how he made Rolegg believe he could hear surface dwarfs going about their business if he just put his ear to the ground.

Reminiscing wasn't really on his mind, though, for he had witnessed the exchanging of the vows and he had not only noticed the height difference (he found Drow to be too ugly to make little Drowgars anyway) but also the equally unappetizing looks of both species, thus he mumbled "Drow and Goblins are a good fit, hm!" The strange and disgusted looks of the surrounding Drow went unnoticed by the Duergar, "They make ugly babies...hic!" Now that everyone around him had the newly-weds bedchamber in their minds he suddenly shouted "Drowlins! Drow, Goblins, their kids will be Drowlins!"

The dominion had created their own species. A thousand years from now the Drow would be gone, the Goblin would be extinct... there'd only be the Drowlin, stupider and uglier than either of the other species. Perfect patsies for the Duergar schemes!

By the Goddess she was glad this was moving at some pace.

Xunari was glad enough that her niece was playing along but for her to be having a properly good time she would need to get her hands on something to knock her socks off. And, preferably, something that would mean she didn't much care about the odd choice in perfume that the Goblin King had.

Seriously, it was as though he had dunked himself in several different tanks of perfume in the hopes of finding a good one. Though it still beat his natural musk she would freely admit. Not that that was a HARD feat of to manage of course.

She wasn't surprised by the King's little display but she also didn't care. Instead when the High Priestess looked to her she rolled her hand as if to tell her to just get on with it. The High Priestess loudly declared them husband and wife and Xunari immediately patted her niece on the back once before leaving the two soon-to-be lovers alone at the alter.

Poor girl was trying not to drown in drool but that was a Her problem, not a Xunari problem. Xunari walked away from the alter, waving her hand in the air.

"Start the music!"
she barked at the band, "And if someone doesn't get me a drink in the next three seconds...? I'm going to be very disappointed!"

She was wearing a dress.

AND IT WAS FUCKING PINK.

Her niece's final revenge no doubt.

It was quite the turnout, but that made no difference to him. Showing his support was expected so he played his role, sipping his drink and letting his presence suffice for fulfilling his obligations. He fully intended to sit out this entire soiree by himself and get back to his own plans as quickly as possible.
Although seeing the Runic Commander present in a dress was sufficient to cause him to rethink his plan. As formidable as she was it was a rare treat to see her out of her armor and in such a garish color.
He himself was dressed in silver spider silk formal wear with his long hair combed back and his void colored skin oiled to shine.

When the call for a drink rang out he took it upon himself to do the honors, fetching some glowing concoction and approaching her with an easygoing smile.
"Greetings, Commander Auceus. Congratulations on the union of your kin. I doubt anyone else could have pulled it off."
He offered her the other drink in his hand before sipping his own. His eyes never left her face, scanning and calculating her words and actions like any Drow worth his salt.

Everyone else was better dressed than her and the best way, to her mind, to remedy that would be to utterly ruined everyone else's dresses. Of course that would involve starting a lot of fights and even throwing something at the Queen's dress.

She was toying with the idea of throwing some chocolate pudding at Vyx'aria to ruin her, admittedly, much prettier dress but she decided against it. If she ended up starting a civil war over a bowl of thrown pudding she would never live it down.

Erza Kord, the Surgeon of renown, approached her with a drink. It was, perhaps, the only reason she didn't curse him for wearing better clothes than her as well. She took the glass in hand and took a deep drink... that turned into a drink that finished off the glass. Setting it down, she gestured for a passing waiter to attend to her sudden lack of a drink.

"Surgeon Kord."
she greeted the male with a nod, "Truly it is... a blessing that someone of my line has been blessed with with such a... wonderful wedding."

It didn't take a genius to know that her thoughts on the matter were... mixed.

"I see our Queen and half of the Court is in attendance."
she noted before muttering, "And already twice as drunk as I am at least..."

At long last the wedding ceremony was completed by the Stolen Gods it felt like dragged ages. The second the High Priestess pronounced the Goblin King and Hariana man and wife, Griag planted a wet, slimy, drooling kiss across Hariana's soft, dark lips. Griag's lips were yellow and extremely dry. He'd forgotten to moisturize his lips even with the constant insistence of his maids, to a Goblin: Filthiness was next to Godliness. Trying to adapt to other races traditions was like trying to stand straight up on a galloping Horse: Nearly impossible.

Griag licked chaffed lips with his slimy pointed tongue. "Oh my dear Hariana," The Goblin King said cupping her cheek with his curled claw. "You have no idea how long I've waited to do that! Lady Xunari always ruined the fun whenever you and I got together! Ohhh you have save yourself for the marriage! You must wait until consummation! All these rules and traditions. I mean it's one thing to read about them! It's another to actually to put into blood practice!"

The Goblin King stared at the Drow and Goblins and the Drugears in attendance. "I feel welcomed into the Kingdom though!" He said which he followed up with a loud burp. The stench of raw onion and vodka filled the nostrils of a female Drow who immediately fainted in front of Griag's swollen and somewhat deformed feet. Griag looked down at the woman blankly as he awkwardly coughed and placed his arm around Hariana.

"Better out than in I always say!" The Goblin King laughed.

The festivities were equally boring as well, the Drow began playing the Harp which was just as soothing as watching a Cat having his intestines' pulled out. Two Duegar were getting drunk trying to figure out what kind of child they he and Hariana would have which to be honest was the last thing on Griag's mind. He found a wonderful and beautiful queen to rule with who was also the key to forming a beneficial alliance in his path to revenge. As much as Griag wants to get down and dirty with Hariana, children wasn't his top priority.

Besides he intends to be King for a long time with his magic extending his lifespan.

Holding Hariana around his arm, Griag yawned loudly as he saw the celebration take place. He was slumped on his commode chair with two Bugbears standing guard. His eyelids felt like someone was forcing them shut, snorting the Goblin King got up dragging Hariana by the arm. "My dear!" He mumbled. "This music will not do! Do these Drow tend to bore me to death? Because they're doing good job of it so far!"

When they arrived at the middle of the room, Griag cleared his throat loudly so everyone can here. "HELLO EVERYONE!" Griag said holding his arms up leaving his stink of his armpits vulnerable to any poor guest who was in his vicinity. "I must say that this party is errrr...." he sighed. "Oh who am I kidding this party is BORING! These musicians are as entertaining as drunken Dwarf shitting on a table! There's little movement here! THIS IS NOT FIT FOR A KING! ESPECIALLY FOR THE KING OF GOBLINS!!!!!!"

With a snap of his fingers Griag summoned a band of Goblins who magically appeared before him. In the middle was a female Goblin dressed in a blond wig and too much makeup along with a tattered dress. There was a green goblin who was also dressed in "fancy" clothing of a red velvet formal clothing. The rest were back singers and Goblin musicians. Nodding his head, Griag gave simpering smile. "Now," he said. "Let us spice this party up with a Goblin's touch!"

The Goblin's quickly got in position as Griag let go of Hariana feeling the adrenaline coursing through his veins. He wasn't this excited since the day he successfully went through constipation on his commode throne: Without help of his servants. As soon as they were ready, the Goblins began to sing in the Goblin tongue:

While Griag began to dance like a Wildman:

He was a tad bit late, but it wasn't his fault. He had spooked some of the pesky goblins on the way in and then had to proceed to prove that he was not a threat to their oh so powerful king. He was more likely to die of a heart attack than anything with his weight.

Coryn would look around for a few of his fellow drow and then approach some of them while looking at the bride. The poor thing was going to be miserable he felt, but he did not know and did not want to know in the end.

He would actively be moving around others like a normal person at the party. Though a few partying goblins did go through him a few times. He would approach Xunari Auceus and Erza Kord as they talked.

What a nice party ma'am, rather, He stops as he thinks of the words, active to say the least. The ghostly elf looks as the goblin king's lackeys started to sing and dance, playing their instruments in their own horrid goblin fashion. Something his ears were not accustomed to.

The elf glanced over at the people, it was a party and some of the other members of the queen's council were there along with Vyx herself.

If they examined him they would realize that he wore the same clothes he was stuck in for the past centuries and maybe even longer. As he had no way to change his wardrobe or outfit so he could not help it. The mage simply lifts a hand to cancel out all that dreadful music that the goblins were playing.

A very bold plan to gain more power Commander and a wedding as well. You and the Surgeon look very nice for this party.

A goblin was thrown through his image and he didn't seem to mind but looked at the goblin with a nasty and icy glare. Oh, how he wanted to snap its neck with blood magic, but that would be bad party manors. He would save that particular goblin for later.

Vyx watched the bizarre set of events unfold and the Goblin king burst into the most grotesque display of dancing she had ever seen. The look on the normally stoic drow was comical, her red eyes wide with morbid curiosity as she sipped from her drink. The sheer amount of blubber flying around in all directions was truly a sight to behold, and she could have sworn she saw a fat roll accidentally knock a bystander goblin out cold.

She looked to the side and was surprised (and horrified) to find the Rous kingpin Skavius Drytail. Her agents had informed her about him for a long time, and he had quite the connections in the Underrealm. Vyx pondered for a moment before she made her way over to him, reminding herself not to gag at the thought of his disgusting tail.

“Lord Drytail,” Vyx spoke in the Underrealm common tongue, “I’m pleased to see you joining us,” She snapped her fingers to call forth a servant that rushed over with a tray of drinks for him to select, “Could I interest you in some of our more...exotic delights?” Vyx gave him a wink as she pulled out a pouch and drew out some brightly colored hallucinogenic mushrooms. She popped one into her mouth and handed him one if he took it.

Vyx looked over at Zathria who wore an expression that looked suspiciously as if she had the odor of poop under her nostrils. The Queen rolled her eyes and grabbed the woman by the shoulder, “Hey, go rescue that good looking Drow from whatever that Goblin is making him do,” With that, she bodily shoved the woman directly towards Ta’Kar and into the dance floor.

She turned to regard Nesipheia next. The woman had been absolutely critical in their win in Dhunbor. Vyx eyed the woman up and down, “Thank you,” A faint grin graced her face, “Might I add that you look stunning this evening?" Her gaze lingered on the woman for longer than necessary before she finally looked away to take a long sip from her cup.

That was when Vyx spotted Tarnakh dressed to the nines, “Khan Tarnakh, you clean up well,” She grinned at him. His face appeared to change colors a few times over and she realized that the shrooms were beginning to take effect, "To be honest, I think we are making up some traditions as we go. I certainly didn't expect to see a Goblin and Drow get married, but..." She trailed off as Tarnakh began to grow two heads, "You can probably put the gift somewhere next to that passed out goblin over there by the bar."

Vyx looked over at the dance floor, her mind slowly becoming addled enough to where she was actually considering it.

It was indeed an odd gathering. Why the drow had agreed to such a union was beyond Lord Drytail's understanding. He thought the race was rather consumed with beauty and all that, but apparently politics mattered more. The goblin king was many things, and beauty was the antithesis of them all. The large rat could not help but feel a soft tug at his own strangled heart as he watched the newlyweds. He'd had a lovely something in his life once, something taken too soon and too harshly, and it brought a wistful moistness to his small eyes.

But! This was no time for sadness, no! It was a time for revelry and celebration, and a time for making important introductions. He could see the drow queen and several important looking individuals. Before the night was out he must speak to her, and choosing the right time to do so was important. She would not likely appreciate his company while sober, but he did not want her to be so drunk as not to remember him.

With the king's outburst the music changed, and the grotesque dancing roused a hearty chortle from the rous lord. "Oho, oh yes! This is a celebration!" he called in a deep, bellowing voice that scarcely broke above the loud music. The two burly rous bodyguards that accompanied him did not seem as overjoyed by the new events, and looked as grim as ever.

As he bobbed his head to the lively tune, the rolls of his chin swaying back and forth, he just caught sight of the Queen herself approaching him. He quickly bounded to his feet, which was in reality more of a sudden roll forwards. He bowed as low as he could manage given his shape, and after a moment, snapped his tail at the back of his guards' legs to ensure that they followed suit.

The sound of the Underrealm language was pleasing, and he answered in turn. Her greeting was not expected so soon, but her offer was not expected at all. "Your Majesty, the pleasure is all mine," he said with a bit of a whistle off his large front teeth. He plucked a bright yellow drink from the tray, and smiled shrewdly at the Queen's offer of... alternative morsels. "You are most generous. I think the occasion warrants such an indulgence! Baha!" He accepted her offer, and tossed the small fungus into his mouth.

It would take a moment to manifest its effects, but manifest they would. In the meantime, he allowed himself to be reassured by how readily this Queen engaged in less-than-exemplary behavior.

This was the worst of the worst. Never in her wildest nightmares did she ever imagine that she'd be married off in some convoluted political scheme like this. And by her own aunt!! Harianra grit her teeth as she was made to say her vows, speaking through them. Xunari Auceus had tattooed horrible runes to stop her from breaking those vows. (Although if she was ever to find out that they were fake, there'd be hell to pay!!)

Once her hands were free from the grip of Griag The Goblin King she used them to smear the drool off of her face. Yet no sooner did she do that that her...husband...planted a kiss on her lips. Harianra nearly puked, yet swallowed it down, hiding her disgust in a plastered smile.

Looking around to other guests, all that she saw was pity for her plight, as well as some amusement. Oh if only she could die right now! As long as she took everyone else with her that'd be amazing!

Fortune shone on her a little, however, as Griag went to dance on his own. It was an almost comical display, yet she took the opportunity to grab two glasses of scotch, downing the first in one gulp, followed closely by the second. If she was to consumate this marriage tonight, she didn't want to remember it. "I don't think there's enough alcohol in this hall for me tonight." Her thoughts were spoken aloud but she didn't care. Everyone else would be thinking it anyways.

All except for the Goblin King...

The Naghoon ruler grunted once and shrugged.

"Politics and marriage are made for each other and also horrible for each other," he stated bluntly, either oblivious or unfazed to the Drow Queen's hallucinatory dilemma. "That is a talk for another time. Now, we must celebrate. If not for a happy marriage, then for an alliance sealed. I will begin Ogugkh Yuslulh."

With that, the Steppe Orc turned and made his way to the doors and exited. A few moments later, he returned with an ornately carved silver staff in his hand and a small number of servants following, each carrying a large bundle in their arms. Tarnakh climbed up atop a nearby table and beat the silver capped metal staff against the table until he had quiet and the music stopped.

The Ogugkh Yuslulh, or Giving Ceremony, was a psuedo-formal ritual that done more or less to ensure the recipient of a gift know from where it came and also to determine where said recipient would do most of their celebratory drinking. In large, formal Naghoon ceremonies, it was often a small part of the event, but in more intimate settings the ceremony, and associated drinking or merrymaking, would form the centerpiece of the celebrations before the actual feasting began.

"In the Taagh-Bhar we have a custom: Ogugkh Yuslulh," he began when the room dropped to its quietest point. His voice was rough and his foreign accent was clearly evident, but he did his absolute best to speak clearly and loudly so all could hear and understand.

"At weddings, gifts are given and announced. Some are for the Husband. Some are for the Wife. I wish long life, happiness, and many, many children to the wedded couple and I wish to share this custom of my people with them upon their wedding day."

Tarnakh gestured to the servants who uncovered their bundles and placed them carefully upon the table the Queen, Vyx'aria, had designated.

"For the Husband, Griag King," he stated, placing the title after the name as per formal Naghoon custom. "I give many bundles of rare furs, many bolts of soft Cashmere, and much fine silk from the Taagh-Bhar and Naghoon people. I also gift a fine Naghoon sabre, a personal gift from my own stores and crafted by my personal smith."

Tarnakh then gestured to the doors of the cathedral which slowly opened.

"To the Wife, Harianra Queen, I give a gift reserved traditionally for a Naghoon Khan-Bhikha, or Naghoon Queen. Fifty of my best horses, maiden mares all. May they bring you wealth and happiness for all your days."

The first of the mares, lead by more servants entered the hall. The servants tried to pull them towards the table as the Queen had directed, but between the hundreds of strange smells, odd sights, and the simple nervousness of young horses it was only a matter of time before one mare broke free from her lead. The rest quickly followed suit and, in a matter of seconds, all hell broke loose leaving the hall in chaos and Tarnakh genuinely confused.

Perhaps the table wasn't the best place for his gifts.

Trovik never had been to these wedding they weren't really a thing where he came from, you declared it to the rest of the tribe and that was it no need for all this ceremony. That's why he had only arrived, already a bit drunk, of course, no need to wait if he wanted to be drunk as everyone else by the end of the night he needed the head start.

Walking through the door, he drunkenly stepped to the side to avoid the herd of horses now escaping, it wasn't his problem so he carried on but felt a tug on his horn not caring for what it was he carried on figuring it would snap or break whatever it was. as he continued the bunting that was wrapped his horn pulled free of it fixtures and began to drag behind him, he honestly didn't care.

but now he could see all the guests in attendance, he was pretty sure he was too sober to be here, from the fat walking and talking rat and the goblin king, Trovik had found rotting diseased corpses more appealing that creature, whatever poor thing is married to that doesn't deserve it, in his mind death would have preferable.

he made his way to the bar, "whats the biggest container you have 'ere" he asked the bartender,

"we have pints." the drow replied to which Trovik responded with a roll of his eyes before pointing at a quarter casket on one of the shelves behind him.

"give me that"

"in a pint?"

Trovik leant on the bar even hunched over he was still looking down on the drow, the end of his snout a few inches away from his face. "the whole thing"

The drow didn't argue with trovik, the over 7 foot, partly drunk minotaur, and handed over the cask of ale to him and he found a table to get pissed as a fart.

Davios would be watching the events unfold..What a karkin' mess to say the least. Sighing to himself the Spikey hair, tattooed Drow would take a sip of his Dark rum. The armour clanking quietly as he shifted his weight and held his drink with his other hand. His piercing yellow eyes would keep looking ahead and watching the room before he was approached by a rather dark looking human with long hair. Making a cheeky comment in regards to the bride and husbands future sex life. His voice was pretty laidback and wry. "Someone has to." His yellow eyes still looking forward as he took another sip of his Dark rum. It seemed this human was getting rather bold but open. Davios would raise his eyebrow at him as he turned to finally look at him with a sharp glare. His white tattoos riding along above and under his eye down his face and neck. "And you are?"

Black Guards were all around the ball as they were posted up in doorways or along the walls on the sides keeping watch. It appeared a naga was approaching the queen as they intervened to keep her at a distance but letting her say her congratulations on the wedding and a formal welcome along with it. The Black Guards would stay in their place until ordered so by the Queen or when the Naga decided to leave on her own. After whichever swayed they would form back to the sides and stay at a attention for now.

Well it never took longer than that when the Goblin King opened up about how shitty the music was, complaining over their music and brought in his own. The faces of those near him when he lifted his arms to speak to those attending would have them almost near comatose. It seemed water was something they never heard of. Typical. Only after the Goblin band came trumping in a female goblin in a wig started to join in for entertainment. "here we go.." mumbled Davios as it seemed this night was only going to get worse.

It was hard to keep up with all the races, creatures and..who knows what else that would be arriving. Roaring, foot stomping, mugs smashing together and music was all that filled the air. Dwarves screaming, The Bride ready to drink a keg of ale to forget what she'd just done and a floating Ghost. This was certainly a all welcome party. But just as Davios thought it would get more interesting in came a Naghoon.....Speaking of rituals and gifts for them both...Which included 50 Karkin Horses. Well strike me dead as one broke free and it became chaos but non-shockingly it didn't effect a single soul in the room. The Black Guards would stand there looking bewildered and glancing over to Davios as in "What now?" His yellow eyes would glare at them. Not needing to say anything but give them the look of "Get control of them karkin' horses or I will personally kill you all with my hands." That's all it took as the Guards began to run around trying to grab them, some ended up riding them out the main doors.

Davios would let out a grumble.."Someone is going to die before this night is over..But atleast the Queen is safe." He would glance over to her direction.

Her niece was giving her evils again and already Xunari wanted to roll her eyes so hard they'd fall out. At least that way she wouldn't need to see Griag dancing - that was a sight that was going to haunt her in her nightmares for the next several years she could just tell. It was going to replace the nightmare she'd had about feeling her old arm burning again.

Compared to dragonfire, she would rather suffer that than Griag's dancing.

She snagged another drink and began to sample it - she didn't honestly know what fucking drink it was but it was alcoholic and that, right now, was all that mattered. She nodded to the Nameless one as he made his approach, snorting in amusement.

"Yes... active... I do believe that's the best description for it that doesn't involve lots of swearing and more hallucinogenics."
she agreed with a wave of her hand, "Nice of you to dress up."

She scowled at his comment about her looking nice - she was dressed in a pink dress that clashed with her skin tone and she had no jewelry that matched. But the man wasn't wrong - this was a naked power grab by her family and by the Drow as a whole.

Xunari would probably regret it but she still snagged a few hallucinogenic mushrooms from someone's pocket before throwing them across the distance to her niece.

"Eat enough and you might feel up for it!"

Just as Harianra downed another drink and feeling a wee bit on the edge of tipsy, an idea came to mind. What if she got Griag The Goblin King drunk? Yes, she could possibly get him so drunk that he' pass out before he could even touch her. Then she could just pretend that the marriage was consumated and none would be the wiser. Hmmmm. That could work.

Xunari Auceus tossed some mushrooms at her, which just landed by her feet. She narrowed her eyes and mouthed a few choice words for her aunt which she was sure didn't need any translation.

Yet her attention was turned to Tarnakh however as he banged on the table for attention. Harianra' eyes didn't linger on the materials, but on the gleaming saber. Oh she could think of quite a few to run through with that blade. Already she imagined the slaughter that would set her free.

And as if the Fates heard her soul crying for escape, fifty horses were gifted to her. Harianra smiled as they entered the hall, making her way to them. Each step took her further away from her disgusting husband and towards freedom. Chaos erupted as one of the horses broke loose, which couldn't be anymore perfect. Harianra quickly lept onto one of their backs and wrapped the mane around her fingers as she urged it towards the doors where the others were already being taken care of by the guards.

Hopefully none would notice.
