LFG - Quest The Key and the Lock

M

Mischa Ven'rohk

That Which Makes Pure has directed Mischa Ven'rohk to Vel Anir for a reason.

It is here she may find the Key. The Key to unlock the Vault. And what lies within.

The premise: It seems a normal mercenary sort of job one might find in a tavern, if vague. The man isn't a noble, but works for one. He's friendly, but speaks carefully. He takes Mischa and the others up to his room to talk privately. Turns out, he's coming clean and washing his hands of doing the noble's dirty work, but not before walking away with a big score. And the biggest score must be in the underground Vault the Key--passed down for generations in the noble family--unlocks. Enough for him and those he hires for the job, and then some. Surely.

The problem? All the security about the manner. A fool's errand to try and take it by force.

The solution? Infiltration. During a large and aristocratic party the noble will be hosting at his estate. Mischa and the others will pose as well-to-do merchants and such from Alliria/Elbion, brought by the man for business (and schmoozing). Get in. Blend in long enough to locate and lift the Key. Get out. If they should be so lucky for it to go smoothly.

The other problem? Mischa, and likely your sellswordy/mercenary-type character, will need some cleaning up and dressing up in order to fit in, prior to the party. Not to mention being quite out of their normal element in an upscale party.

And then there's the Vault itself...

So basically, a thread in the vein of the Thalmor Embassy quest from Skyrim (and partially inspired by the pictures of those dapper orcs linked in Discord a few weeks back. Now's your chance to make a decidedly non-dapper character dapper! Or fail miserably in the attempt!)

Looking for 2-3 people to take part.

Feel free to reply here or to send me a message on Discord or through a PM.

Great, I'll get it started either later on today or tomorrow.

Might get a third. Might not. We'll see.
