The Forbidden City. The most famous, or perhaps infamous, location in all of the
Amol-Kalit Desert. The long abandoned city was once home to a long lost civilization, or so several Measters as
Elbion believed. Though the Construct had left Elbion, it had not forgotten the tales,
legends, and myths the mages would whisper among themselves. Some among the college considered it hold ground, tabu to touch, yet others thought it a monument to a civilization who'd attempted to violate the
laws of magic, still others thought it held treasures to give wisdom untold.
The Construct had no idea what to believe of these rumors, and did not pretend to have an opinion on them. But it did understand that seven years ago, a Maester referred to as "The Cartographer" had came here in hopes of mapping the Serpent's Teeth. The Cartographer's magic was powerful. The Construct hoped to find some of the artifacts she had created, gaining the ability to find what it truly desired.
