Ripe grains grew from the path west and east of the river of life. The wooden litter painted gold and covered in black-star-speckled cloth rose high above the seagrass. Carried by 8 maned males, embellished from head to toe. Behind it a retinue of soldiers of many packs.
The royal litter carried the most esteemed, divine grace, the Pharaoh of this new homeland of theirs.

But what is a homeland without subjects? Without a land that is truly theirs?
Nothing.

Aken'Iterylon, the high commander already left before dawn with her pack to gather the answers of the humans that lived in these lands. Each daughter and niece went to a separate settlement. Will they bring back a branch of peace or an empty hand?
Now it was merely time to collect their answer as the litter marched downriver from hamlet to hamlet.
Will they reject and suffer to be left to the wildling raiders? Or will they »Join our pack and benefit the protection we offer. Thus may their crops and homes never be razed by enemy fires and war. So their newly made abundance may feed our bellies and we may drink together in the honour of Basaph and Khoseti.«
Gaheznem already mused aloud to her retinue of servants, many of which were her sisters and brothers, and of which she stood at the helm of.
She was anxious of excitement. The truth of their fate on this land was mere moments away from them. They had to know.
The first of Aken'Iterylon's pack was already in view, paw raised high. Yet a small trip had her grasping at the ground. What a lapsus in manners, she was ashamed!
Patting off the dress as she rose with the help of her brothers, her eyes wandered straight at the offending material.
Oh, how she would regret to think of this beautiful artefact in such a disrespectful manner!
Staring for a few long moments at it, she picked up the item and cried out in joy.
Her paw cleaned off the fragment to reveal it's beauty, and Gaheznem would sing.

» Truth cannot be forced. Twisted and moulded into lies it becomes. «
» Oh Imhotat, Lord of truth, bring us knowing «
» Lord of knowing, bring us truth. «

A daughter of Aken'Iterylon approached in her stoic glory, her raised paw carrying a branch of peace.
