Close to the heart of the Allir Reach rests a field of wild flowers. Flowers in the shape of bells with a range of colors rivaled only by the rainbow. Flowers that make potent medical herbs and potions. And in the middle of this field of flowers is a great monument of a gracious king holding up a bell in one hand as a sword is pointed towards a field of flowers in the other. A memorial to a miraculous victory when this king won an impossible battle by the blessings of the gods against an army that contained more soldiers than fingers on your hand for each of his own. A temple made of carved marble with flowers, bells, and soldiers into its walls stood nearby.

Pilgrims, doctors, and priests all gathered in this place of beauty. Some came to worship and ask that the gods bless them as well. Some came to learn of medicine to heal others in the way the gods had healed the king's soldiers of the sickness that had effected them before the battle. Some came to see the historic place where the impossible came to pass and birthed the kingdom currently ruling the land.

Asa was here for a different reason. He was here not to worship. He was here not to learn. He was here not see history. The cambion doctor was here for the wild flowers about the place. His stock had been used up and he needed to resupply. After the events in Elbion, his usual method of sending students to get him more as part of a research trip wasn't currently possible. No, he was having to restock his supplies himself. So it required he come to this land yet again. It required he come to face to face with the statue he had seen countless times already. While others around him reveled in the beauty and experience of the place he stood waiting on the tourists to clear out enough he could gather the wild flowers.

The man looked at the statue. No smile or frown upon his face. No look of awe or disgust. His face was as blank as the marble before him. Guards were having to actively shove people away from the statue to keep them all from trying to touch it or even chip part of it away. He was not one of them. Mostly he was just remembering the events of that day. Remembering what his part of that declared miracle of a day. Remembering the man who was being memorialized by the statue.

Pilgrims stepped aside as the curious sight walked down the well-trod path mid the many gorgeous flowers. Red, blue, yellow, soft pink, white, cream, any hue under the sun was found here, even the occasional deep blue and black blossom. Even they could not escape the occasional superstition.
Touted as fact that the plants were the result of the blood spilled in the war. There was more to it than what she heard from others, perhaps there was more written of them on the way to the temple itself?

This was rather exciting to the giantess, and to her benefit, most people left her alone, as they bid their time to the temple more than her or the massive dinosaur she rode. Still, the occasional onlooker oogled too much at her, and she merely waved at them in a friendly manner, just for them to turn around in some sort of self-manifested shame.
Nevertheless, the path was clear for her and her adoring companion, Caomh shook the plants on each side of the path with each of his steps.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

The ground beneath Asa's feet was shaking. No earthquake or marching of thousands of feet. He knew how those things felt. Experienced them more than a few times over his centuries of life. No, this was entirely new. More akin to the rumbling of a massive beast. And after followed a ripple of hushed words amongst those gathered. Some even parting away from the statue.

The doctor decided to turn and investigate the source of this unusual commotion. He did not need to search long. Before him was a beast of scales unlike anything he had ever seen before and riding atop it was a giantess with finer curves than any bow.

He had come for the herbs, but now his interest was entirely focused upon this towering woman. She was nothing like any he had met before. Certainly giantkin were not entirely new to him, but she was unlike the ones he had heard and met before. The tone of her skin and features were foreign. They even differed from those of the mortals he had met.

Where was she from? What brought her to this place? How did her anatomy differ and resemble what he knew? More and more the questions flooded into his mind. While the others gawked and awed at a curiosity, Asa very much was oogling her body and seeing her as a being.

Eye filled with interest, the doctor smiled slightly to the giantess. "Greetings my lady. I am Master Asa Renwyk. Who might I have the absolute pleasure of getting to see the delightful sight of?"

He offered her a slight bow and even offered out his hand after hoping she would grace him with her own.

The giantess looked around when she heard a greeting, there ere indeed many people here, going to the temple, but soon her eyes settled on the dark man among the colourful blossoms, on hindsight, he stood out so much, he should've been the first thing she noticed. »The name's Aofinta, and this here is Caomh. « she petted the great strider's back and he snorted a puff of hot, greenery smelling breath in the general direction of Asa.
It was a delicate herbivore and cared not as the stranger wandered closer to them, close enough to extend his reach to his rider.

»My pleasure, « she smiled as she leaned down quite far to offer her hand to the tiny man.

It would be hard to say if she did or didn't notice, but the man that had greeted the giantess was taller and larger than most others around him. If he was encased in armor he would be rather intimidating, but he was dressed in traveling clothes meant for comfort and some mild protection instead.

The moment Aofinta's hand was in his own, he lifted her hand up slightly and softly pressed his lips on her knuckles. An action that was then followed up by a proper kiss of her hand. Opposing actions of politeness. One was always considered polite while the other rude in places and his action was meant to subtly ask which she preferred.

The smile was still on his face as he looked up at her eyes. He still held onto her hand, but only with a gentle touch. Even if she wasn't twice his size it would require nearly no effort to slide her hand free. It was more a matter if she chose to or not. Yet another action he was hoping to see to find out more about this fascinating woman before him.

"What brings you here miss Aofinta? If it is to see the most beautiful sight here then I will fetch you a mirror." Asa said with a perfectly straight face.

Ever since that time he absorbed an unhealthy and unstable amount of demonic essence from a succubus, the cambion had been rather more lustful and flirty than before. Even with it gone (or at least it should all have been gone by now), he still seemed to be effected by it. Perhaps his body had truly taken it in and adapted it into his flesh and blood the way it was doing with his mother's essence? His mother was a being of lust as well as gluttony so it could have amplified that aspect within him. He already did obsess in a rather lustful way over new knowledge and things.

Speaking of....

Asa took in the sight of the beast the giantess was riding quickly before his amber eye was back to her. Both were foreign to him. Truly new. How long had it been since last he experienced that? Far, far too long. She was drawing out all his lusts right now and that might not be a good thing for either of them.

"May I accompany you darling or would you rather some privacy?"

Aofinta giggled lightly to herself as she brought her hand back to her face to cover up discretely after she let go.

» Sightseeing, « she calmed down, patting Caomh on the right shoulder.
»They say the flowers here grow so beautiful due to a battle that raged here many generations ago. «

»Perhaps if you will, you can accompany me. I want to see the inside of the temple if they'll let me peer inside. «
There was a slim chance they'd let a giantess of her stature inside a temple. She was four meters tall, but maybe they'll let her peek?

The flowers certainly were beautiful things. Beauty and utility. The perfect combination. If they were women then it would be hard for Asa to pass them up. In flowery form he already could not. The consideration of planting and growing them back home in Elbion had always been high. For his work having a supply so close at hand would be invaluable.

....Yet he knew their truth and it put a damper on such a thought. Indeed they grew in this place in such great numbers due to a morbid ritual where thousands of lives were thrown to trample grass into mud and slicked with spilled blood all for the sake of this thing called glory. A ritual known as war. A war climaxing in this place. A place only peaceful because it had gotten all of its suffering done early.

But revealing such a truth would ruin the mood. He very much didn't want that ruined. There were many things he wanted to learn from this large, lovely woman. Things such as her race. Where she was from. What she felt like....

The alchemist offered her his arm. An offer to escort her to the temple. An offer as if she were no different from any of the same sized women staring as they flowed around them.

"It would be my absolute pleasure to be graced by your presence. I would be a fool not to accept."

A smile crossed his face instead of the impossible wink of a one eyed man.

"If they refuse to let you in, I will make them. A beautiful, pleasant woman such as yourself should never be denied what she wants."

She slid off Caomh and petted him on his shoulder. The beast seemed to decide it would be best for it to start trampling its way into the middle of the flower field. It kept a better eye on Ao than she did on him.
Maybe he wanted to see if they were edible. They didn't appear as delectable on first thought.
»Of course you may! - but please make no ruckus on my behalf, « she lightly chuckled. » That would be emberrassing.«

The big beast would find the flowers to indeed be edible although have a rather bitter taste, if it even could taste bitter. After some time of eating it might even find that any issues it was having from fatigue to intestinal problems would seem to ease up or disappear. Those flowers were favored by healers for good reason, not that the creature would know this.

Asa would escort Aofinta to the temple in a rather casual fashion. It was as if her size didn't matter to him. In honesty her height did not. Tall or short it was all the same in the end. The body would function the same regardless. The only thing it would affect was how much of any given substance one could handle before feeling the effects.

What did matter to him was the woman's curves. He had a fondness for curvy women. A fact he had been all too reminded of lately. He had met a couple curvy women recently and both of them had really peaked his interest. For the second it didn't help that his feelings of lust had been heightened. A curious reaction that was proving to be permanent as long as it was continuing. He would need to be careful about absorbing any more demonic essence into his body in the future. Similar events might occur and leave him with another heightened emotion.

But those thoughts would not appear on his face. Only that smile and deep seated interest, both academic and carnal, in his eye.

"Miss Aofinta, tell me about yourself. I have never met one of your kind before and would be deeply interested in learning more about you and your kind. As a doctor, a scholar, and a man getting to know you better is important.... If you don't mind speaking on it of course. Would never dream of forcing you to speak on anything you don't want to."

Aofinta chuckled before leaning in. » Everyone wants to learn more about me, but! I would like to learn more about you!«
Of course, the giantess had a point, she was a curiosity, an outsider in this land. She and Caomh certainly didn't come here to be studied, it was she who came to experience the world and its people of this foreign and strange land, where the worst horror is a tiny bear that would most definitely be trampled to death by the most common of Malakath's prey beasts.

Her eyes peered through the temple gate, despite being big and luxurious, it was too grand for her, and she could only look at what lay inside. Nevertheless, she could capture this imprint of the moment with one of her photosensitive crystals.

While the giantess looked in the temple, the doctor looked her over. Such a lovely woman with a body of curving perfection. She may not be from these lands but so far nothing about her seemed much different than humans or elves or any of the other races with similar anatomical structures. Where elves had long pointy ears compared to humans, she was just several times the size of one.

Asa began to wonder just how biologically compatible her kind would be with his parents' own....

While his mind and eye wondered, he answered her returned question.

"I do not know what all you wish to know, but I'm not a complicated. At least not in my own mind. I'm certain others have a differing opinion."

Those around them sort of proved his point as they were as curious about the man standing next to the giant woman as they were the giantess herself. It made for a curious sight and created a sort of size scale people could visualize.

"I'm a doctor. Can do a bit of everything but my focus tends to be in dealing with plagues. I am an alchemist as well. Do plenty of research trips to discover new materials and unravel their uses in the craft as well as furthering knowledge on more common ones."

His hand went over to the flowers her beast was still eating. "For instance I wrote a manual over the many, various uses for these flowers around here that get used at the college I am a member of. Sometimes I even teach, but they prefer if I do not."

An impish grin crossed his lips. "They say I am a bit of a demon."
