"Hush child." She said gently. Pulling her back to wipe her tears. "No tears. "
She whispered soothingly drying her tears with the edge of the pelt they shared. The fire crackled as she finished drying her eyes before letting her return to her chest.
"Only in times like these do I ever want to see you cry again child. Do you understand."
She said with a slightly serious edge to her gentle tone. "only when we are alone. Not even Luna. Weakness is to be expected among our kind, but we are dreadweavers. Protectors. We are the steel of the blade. Steel is cold and strong, and does not take to weeping."
She continued as she softly pet Syn's head. She needed no response. Syn was the type to understand immediately. She had never been a slow learner in all their travels and fights. Elise had never cared for anyone like this girl.
Syn had a heart for her sisters and a stomach for the violence necessary to protect them. Elise was proud of her. She sighed as she continued her soft cuddling until she felt her charge fall into slumber before she allowed herself to fall asleep as she always had.
With one eye open.

Luna had awakened as the girl had fallen asleep. Her mouth was a thin line as she carried her to the heavy oaken front door, without waking her, in the early hours of the morning.
She had passed Syn and Elise with the Dreadweaver wrapped around her charge in a protective manner. She nodded to Elise who only gave a slight nod in return, as to not wake Syn, as she passed silent as a ghost. She pulled one of the bear pelts from the bed and wrapped Eleanor inside of it as she shouldered open into the bitterly cold tundra. Snow was lightly falling as she walked to the alter.
A deer and wolf where tied to a tree close by and after a sudden swish of her void tentacles cutting them down they each lay dead. Void tendrils scooped them up as she carried them with her as well and ascended the stone steps. Runes and carvings covered the alter.
They told the story of the cult. The story of all those who came and all those who were to come. They held runes even Luna no longer understood.
Their translation and meaning lost to the ages. She laid Eleanor gently on the alter as stone around her slid away revealing four black steel chains.
She unwrapped the girl and with a quick flip of her tendrils and with a swish like a blade her clothes were stripped away leaving her naked and undoubtedly waking her as the chains sprung to life and latched to her ankles and wrists pulling her tightly to the cold stone.
Luna stood silently.
Her expression its usual flat deadpan as the wolf and deer were placed in front of the alter.

"Master. The forger is presented as she was as a babe. May she be reborn and given your blessing."
She spoke in a language long forgotten to time. Only her fellow sisters would be able to understand and even they would have trouble in the beginning as it would seem to slip between common tongue and something else that would raise even the most evil hairs on the backs of the cruelest neck.
The blood from the animals began to flow up the stone filling the runes carved into the ancient stone as it began to glow with a deep purplish, black.
"Your blessing to build your weapons. Your blessing to channel your essence. Your blessing to forge your void."
She continued as the alter continued to glow. The pain would be incredible. unbearable.
"May she keep your will, may she be protected by your power, and may she be reborn."
She finished looking away as the power increased.

"Look at her child." Whispered a voice in her ear.
Luna shook her head.
"I said look at her agony."
It whispered louder. Again she shook her head looking at her feet.
"I SAID LOOK YOU WRETCHED CREATURE! LOOK!"
as her head was seemingly wrenched up. Her flat expression unchanged. Except a single tear. Something that even those who had known her for centuries had never seen. it rolled down her cheek as the voice chuckled. "Very well. My blessing is given." He continued to chuckle as the alter dimmed and the chains fell away.
"Bring her to Maywynn. She will be waiting. I believe you have avoided her for long enough."
The voice spoke as she felt herself released. and she walked to Eleanor slowly.
Wrapping her in the pelt again if only to cover her naked form, though she doubted the girl could even feel the cold at this point and time. She pulled her off the alter and held her in her arms sinking back to the ground with her back resting on the alter.
"Im sorry my pup..Im so sorry.."
She spoke soft flat voice but her tone was rife with regret.

The cold struck Eleanor as her eyes flashed open. Where was she? Where were her clothes? She felt the cold stone against her skin and saw the dim morning sky. She tried to move but chains latched on with ice-cold steal, holding her down. Her heart pounded in her throat as she choked on quick panicked breaths. She could hear Luna's voice but it sounded holo and distant as her ears roared with the sound of her own fear. Luna's words seemed to weave in and out of reality, sometimes in common and others in a language that the mear sound of made Eleanor nauseous. She looked back up at the sky tears welling up in her eyes as the cold wind stung her eyes. Why was she here? What was Luna doing?

Then the pain. It washed over her like a tidal wave, crashing into her mind, riping at her soul and she let out an agonizing scream, her vision going white. Writhing, yet still conscious, how was she still conscious? Then it got worse. She tried to scream but she couldn't breathe. Silence wringing in her ears, writhing agony, stripping away everything, everything, everything. Everything except consciousness. It ripped at her till she was begging for death and release. Then it was over.

Was she dead? Just numbness. Then she felt Luna's arms around her and found herself burying her face in Luna's bosom. She didn't have any tears, just trembling and choaked shallow breaths. "Now can I die?" She muttered weakly as she came around, not even aware she had said it aloud.

Syn was awakened by the screams. Her sharp ears nearly deafened. She awoke and cupped her hands over her ears. She looked up at Elise with worry on her face.
"It's Eleanor... Something is happening!"

With that she moved to climb out of bed, not caring for being in her underclothes since she couldn't feel the cold. She wanted to rush out and help Eleanor, make sure she was safe, protect her from whatever was going on, causing her pain that she didn't want.
And if Elise didn't stop her that's exactly what she would do.

Eleanor said she was new, but Syn was even newer. And from what she understood t was her job to protect Eleanor and Luna.

"No pup.."
Luna said softly in her ear holding her close as her tear fell leaving a line down her cheek. "Now you are complete. You are a tool perfected. Never to be cast aside."
She knew that to many that would sound like good news but to Elanor it would be heart wrenching. She understood.
"But I will not forsake you. I will always be here. You are my pup and I your wolf mother. You have been reborn. And I made your new mother."
Her voice didnt catch but Eleanor new when Luna was hurting even though she didnt show it.
"And I know that I will never be enough to comfort you. But I will try with everything I have. That is all I can give you."
Another tear ran down her cheek as she squeezed her tightly before wrapping her doubly in the pelt and her own cloak before carrying her inside the cabin.
"Now rest for a moment. We have a long journey, but youll find the draining feeling of the ritual will fade quickly and not hinder you. We must meet....Maywynn.."
She said in her usual flat tone however at the name the usual sounds of the tundra stopped and a stiff howling wind blew through the trees as if summoned as Luna shielded Eleanor's face with her cloak and whispered poems of comfort and healing in the same void tongue as before. Only this time Eleanor could hear it more clearly.
This time it didnt sound like a weaving of common tongue and a strange language but more like Luna said the words and her brain understood them as Luna shouldered open the cabin door and brought her inside.

"Mistress no!"
Elise tackled her to ground however misjudging her charges new strenght she found herself pinned after they rolled across the floor.
"What the.."
She looked shocked for a moment before with a quick move she wrapped around her charge preventing escape even if it was like iron trying to contain steel.
" Do not be troubled by her pain my child. It is my will. "
The voice of her master Licked her ear as she felt a force stronger than Elise ever could dream hold her in place.
"It is the ritual of the forger..."
Elise muttered out of breath from trying to hold syn even for just that short amount of time. And she haad once choke slammed a fully grown orc with one arm.
"You will be seeing Maywynn soon dog. You and Luna have neglected your old Void Keeper for too long. She misses you both so desperately." The voice whispered to both Syn and Elise as Elise visibly paled and the fire went out as if by the very mention of her name. She seemed to shake herself as she bowed

"As you say. We will fufill your will with haste."
She said as she slowly rose.
" good dog."
The voice whispered as it seemed to begin to fade it suddenly sprang back with a will as it slammed Elise to the wall as if pinning her by her heart as she hung clutching at her chest.
" A void forger and High priestess are now under your care. I need not remind you what will happen if even a scratch befalls them."
It whispered threateningly.
"No master.."
She said through gritted teeth as she seemed to silently screech with pain.
"Good because an unwatchful dog has no need for its eyes. Does it."
He said with a warm chuckle as her left eye began to bleed incredibly fast. It seemed to be constantly re-injured as fast as it could heal as blood began to pour from her lips as well as she struggled with the invisible entity.
"Now. Ill be off. Be a good dog and heel at your mistress's feet."
He spat as she was thrown to Syn's feet and landed in a heap as her blood pooled under her for a moment before her wounds closed. Syn then felt a hand gently caress her face in a warm loving manner as the same voice spoke to her.
"Be well child. Watch out for your sisters my faithful servant." And with a final ruffle of her hair their master took his leave.

Complete... perfected... never to be cast aside. The words rang in her ears and she felt numb. Never cast aside. She felt so tired, she just wanted to sleep, sleep for eternity. But that wasn't allowed. She rested her head on Luna's shoulder and listened to the soft-spoken words of comfort. She could tell they were not in common but they seemed to wash over her gently and she understood them.

True to Luna's word Eleanor was feeling her strength returning to her. She just felt empty. And her senses of her surroundings was limited. They entered the cabin and Luna put her down and helping her sit down on the bench by the table. Eleanor was already feeling well enough to stand but let Luna help her just the same. She pulled the pelt tightly around her naked body.

"If we are to be going someplace I will need some clothes," Eleanor said in a soft voice, vacant eyes fixed on the floor.

Reactions: Syn Ba'al
Syn tripped when Elise lunged to try and stop her and they landed in a heap on the floor. Syn was confused and tried to get up but she was slowed again when Elise wrapped her arms around her to stop her once again. But what truly stopped her was the will of Bastellen. He held her paralyzed while Elise recovered. He explained that what was happening to Eleanor was his will, this was meant to happen.

His touch brought shivers of pain to his skin that made her moan, and as she relaxed her released her. She docilely knelt on the floor as she "watched" Bastellen inflict sweet pain on Elise, making her a little jealous. Then she smelt blood and heard it drip to the floor and make a pool as Elise knelt to recover.
After Bastellen left Syn crawled over to Elise and bent down, licking her blood up off the floor and her face with her elongated tongue. She stood up after kissing her and swallowing every trace of blood.
She wanted to say something to Elise, to apologize, but she didn't want Elise to say her apology is wasted or she doesn't need to apologize... So she said nothing as she stared blindly down at where her senses told her Elise knelt.

She heard the door open as Luna carried Eleanor back inside. Her concern returned to her and she tentatively approached Eleanor, kneeling beside her seat on the bench. She didn't wear her visor so her globed eyes were visible and brimmed with concern.
She reached out a tentative hand towards her, realizing that she only had Elise's memory of Eleanor to tell her what she looked like, she had never felt her face and "seen" for herself. She hoped her new sister would allow it.
"Sister... Sister Eleanor... Are you alright... Are you hurt?"

Reactions: Eleanor Griffin
Elanor didn't move as Syn approached. When Syn spoak she slowly lifted her head resting her own vacant gaze on Synes sightless ones. She registered the concern in the girl's gaze, but all she felt was a heavyweight in her chest. "I am unhurt," She said simply, unflinching as syn reached for her face. This face was much like the one Syn had seen in her memory, but different. There were bags under her eyes from lack of sleep and her cheekbones and jaw sharper from a prolonged lack of appetite. Her face expressionless, if not a bit sad. Eleanor looked back at Syn one question on her mind. Why was Syn here? What had this girl sacrificed to be in this place now? And what had They promised her?

"What did the Master promise you?" She said softly, her eyes falling to the floor.

Syn was caught off guard by the question... She took her hands away from Eleanor's face and sat back on her knees.
"He... He offered me love... Love in pain and pleasure... And the power to share that love with all..."
She rose up on her knees tentatively leaned up toward Eleanor. She kissed her gently on the cheek.
"I love you sister... You don't like pain the way I do... So I will not do it... But I love you still even though we just met. Bastellen has brought us together in a sisterhood... So I will love all my sisters..."
