Taken at a young age, Zephyrine was enrolled into the Academy to weaponize her ability of recreation. As a child, guilt riddled her and eventually she shied from the rest of her classmates and other Initiates. Doing so kept her from forming lasting bonds such as friendship, actively believing that she would be exempt from using her magic in desperation, although it would not work on the living.

Zephyrine enjoys combat and the different weapons at her ready, often known to carry a double ended spear that can break in half and be mended through her Recreation magic. She also carries a small pouch of broken things, only needing a remnant to bring back the entirety of the other weapon she wishes to wield.

Appearance

Standing at five feet and seven inches, Zephyrine has an athletic physique that has been honed with her vigorous weaponry training. She has light brown eyes and dark copper hair, kept in a braid that often falls out from the styling as she was never one to master a simple braid.

She is reclusive, preferring not to be an afterthought by her peers and remain a ghost as she trains and attends classes in the shadows.

The Tolls of her Magic

Zephyrine manifested the power to recreate when she was quite young. It was discovered after the logs in the fire place had been restored, no new firewood added to the hearth for the next day. This went on for a week before her family witnessed her doing so. Word got out, and the Academy came for her. Much too young for lessons, she was placed into the care of a Proctor, being conditioned to be a model Initiate once the time came. She would have grown up with many other Initiates, but after the Revolution, she thought to keep to herself and maintain a low profile, leaving many to presume she was dead like the Proctor playing her guardian.

Her name was still on records if one were to look closely, but the Initiate insisted on not being pitted against her peers and form unwanted bonds.

It was simple enough to bring back lost things, to recreate what was once there. Small and simple uses of this magic does not tax on her health, but to bring back fallen cities or ships can leave her fatigued for weeks. All she needs is a remnant, an echo of what once was.

She is also capable of recreating duplicates, although they do not last long either, her wellbeing does not come at a cost. This can prove helpful in battle, recreating a weapon from memory to better defend herself yet this does not always help her win. She carries a pouch of broken things and pieces, close enough for her to recreate her chosen weapons and have a rotation to work with.
