Biography & Lore
After her parents gave birth to Yuri her powers started to manifest at a young age, not knowing how to stop this Yuri's parents tried to seal away her power but.... their attempt to seal her powers turned against them. Without knowing or wanting it Yuri had murdered her parents, a day or 2 later she sat crying in the corner of the very room she had killed her parents when an old man found her.
This man became her master and taught her how to control her magical powers.
Having been taught how to control magic by her Master who had passed away due to an illness, Yuri set out on her own to discover the world. Even though it seemed like it Yuri never traveled alone, she was always accompanied by a spirit. This spirit had introduced himself as Saito and is not just Yuri's friend but also her guardian. People would often think of Yuri as a strange girl since she seems to be talking to herself, nobody is able to see her spirit friend.

Saito used to be a master of all martial arts a few hundred years ago, that was until he got killed by a stray bullet. The place Saito died was an open grassfield ontop of a small hill, 2 years after he died Yuri's parents decided to build a house on that hill.
Saito thought he didn't deserve to have died that way, so he decided to haunt the Tatsuki family. He found that they were nice people and started to develop a certain bond with them, after Yuri was born her family asked Saito to become her friend and guardian. Saito agreed because he felt affection towards the small baby Yuri.
A bond formed between Saito and the newborn child, when Yuri murdered her own parents unwillingly and unknowingly, Saito swore to do everything within his power to help Yuri.
