Armor & Equipment:
His armor is piecemeal, assembled through survival rather than ceremony. His armor consists primarily of layered cured hide and hardened leather, reinforced with fur lining for warmth and impact absorption. Sparse, mismatched metal plates protect vital areas without restricting movement. Repairs are visible and uneven, bearing no concern for appearance beyond function. Any markings of his original clan have long since been worn down, cut away, or lost.

Weapons:
Cleaver: A massive, weight-forward blade used to end fights decisively
Axe: A one-handed weapon favored for control, leverage and close-quarters dominance

Appearance

Urzak Iron-Hold is a powerfully built orc, broad shouldered and dense with battle-hardened muscle. His physique favors endurance and stability over speed, giving him a grounded, immovable presence both in and out of combat. He carries himself with measured stillness, conserving motion until action is unavoidable. His skin is an ashen green with slate-gray undertones, weathered by prolonged exposure to war and the elements. Old scars cross his body in pale, uneven lines - fully healed, deeply set and numerous enough to mark a long history of survival. His face is heavy-boned beneath a thick brow, framed by deep-set, watchful eyes. Two prominent lower tusks extend clearly past his lower lip even at rest. Dark hair is worn long, typically braided or tied back for practicality. Faded war paint and broken ritual markings remain across his skin, partially obscured by scarring.

Skills and Abilities

Frontline Combatant: Highly experienced close-quarters fighter specializing in sustained engagements, space control, and decisive force using a cleaver and axe.
Line Holder: Exceptional at defensive positioning and holding ground under pressure, particularly in chokepoints or collapsing battle lines. Known for refusing to break even when outnumbered.
Small-Unit Leadership: Proven capability leading small groups in chaotic or high-risk situations. Leads by example rather than command, maintaining cohesion through presence.
Endurance & Resilience: Possesses exceptional stamina and pain tolerance, able to fight through injury and exhaustion for extended periods.
Battlefield Awareness: Maintains constant situational awareness, tracking threats, terrain, and shifting momentum rather than focusing on a single opponent.
Intimidating Presence: Projects quiet menace through size, stillness, and reputation rather than words or aggression.

Limitations: Not a fast duelist or grand strategist; socially blunt and ill-suited to diplomacy or intrigue.

Personality

Urzak is wrathful, but controlled. His anger is ever-present, tempered by discipline forged through loss. He speaks little, observes constantly and commits only when the outcome is clear. He is not cruel, but he is unflinching. Once engaged, he does not waver. He does not seek belonging. He tests it.

Biography & Lore

Urzak was born into an independent wandering orc clan. The clan survived through cohesion, martial strength and a willingness to take battles that more established clans avoided. During a conflict far beyond their scale the clan was nearly annihilated. There was no rescue and no accounting of the dead. When the fighting ended, the clan was gone.

Urzak survived.

With no kin left to return to and no ledger to record the fallen, he became known as the Uncounted not by decree, but by absence. Alone, Urzak eventually reached the borders of the orcish kingdom ruled by Azrakar. He did not arrive as a subject nor claim protection by right. Instead, he proved his worth through action: fighting, holding ground and enduring where others faltered. He earned the name Iron-Hold, bestowed after repeated demonstrations of unyielding defense where retreat would have been easier. This is the name he accepts.
