Arkobold the VI
A crafty coward, doing his best to follow in the footsteps of his heroes.
Appearance
Diminutive, and constantly wide eyed, Arko has seen what happens to small things. Snatched up by the talons of eagles. Fanged by the jaws of mountain cats. Snapped like twigs underfoot. He is prone to skittering and running. Hiding and watching. For the coast to be clear. For the nearest exit.
Still, he has been known to stick into a fight from time to time. Old hand me-down armor guards him against some basic threats, and a broken blade that looks more a greatsword in his clutches is oft dragged about, if not strapped to his back.
Truly, he prefers to stay at distance. And his good friend Roki gifted him a crossbow, custom made to fire bolts in rapid succession. Course, the bolts are near as big as he is, so, planning is required to use the gift to maximum effect.

Shock Fang - He's not exactly sure how, but he's managed to channel lightning through his bights. Weird, he knows, but its saved him once or twice in the past. Once, and he swears by this, he even shocked someone with his little claws.
Gale Breath - His uncle Meepo doesn't believe him, but honestly, one time, he actually belched out a wind blast. It wasn't just a burp!
Weapon enchantment - Preferring craft over warfare, Arko has gotten in tune with the art of metallurgy, and has been found to be quite the capable enchanter. If he can do one thing well under pressure, it's add a little extra sting to weapons and ammunition.

Shadow Dancer - He's really good at hiding.
Mind Palace - Look. When you are afraid of dying all the time, you develop coping strategies. And while he isn't able to delve into the minds of others yet, he's quite good at keeping his mind free from the influence of others. He has enough things to worry about as it is.

Personality
He likes to be alone. And if it wasn't for the pressure from his family to join the order, he would've been happy spending his years hiding in a hole about Mossdeep. Granted, some pretty spooky stuff lives in holes. Maybe it was his practical way of thinking that helped him see the benefits in being trained by mage knights. Or maybe he secretly wants more in life? Nah, that couldn't be it.
Biography & Lore
Named after one of the many heroes to grace clan Rootrock, Arkobold the VI is but one of a dozen Arkobolds who make up a generation of Rootrocks. Proud young kobolds who act as living testament to the noble deeds of Archibald, the hero who saved the nests long ago.
Raised amidst the rocky terrain of the Spine, Arko learned quick of the dangers that lurked behind every corner of the world. It wasn't until he joined the Knights of Anathaeum that he started to... hide less. Urged by his family to join the order, and under the constant and unsolicited (he learned that word from Brother Gylbert) guidance of his elders, he has since learned how to defend himself, and is beginning to grasp infinitely more complex ideas like smithing and artificing. Turns out, he kind of likes those things.
