An archivist's dream and a scribe's nightmare. Touch the quill to old parchment, whisper a request, and it will show you anything written upon the page, even if concealed by magic or age. The quill is carved from the feather of a long extinct bird. Its enchantment is subtle but potent, allowing the user to uncover hidden notes or illusions in written texts. It cannot create false writing but occasionally shifts existing script into dazzling colours.
