Appearance

The Magnificent Furious Hawk: (See image)

Clayton Reese: Clayton is a rather handsome looking fellow, completely unassuming and looking the part of a man of business. He has slicked back ginger hair, a short, neatly trimmed beard and looks like he works out quite frequently, with muscles akin to that of a cruiserweight wrestler.

Skills and Abilities

The Magnificent Furious Hawk is somewhat adept at using Lightning Magic and has fashioned a handful of spells he uses as his trademark moves.

Lightning Strike: With a crack of thunder and a flash of light, The Hawk propels himself forwards with both fists outstretched. Covering a distance of up to twenty meters at the speed of lightning, he generates enough force to smash through brick walls.

Lightning Bolt: With an outstretched hand, The Hawk can create a bolt of lightning that jets forth in whichever direction he aims his hand.

Furious Punch: Generating lightning magic within his fist, The Hawk can generate extra concussive force to his punches, tripling the force of impact compared to his regular punches.

Magnificent Kick: Leaping into the air, The Hawk channels his lightning magic to his leg and unleashes it in the form of a flying kick with extra concussive force.

Great Storm: The most powerful spell in his arsenal, The Hawk can summon up to three consecutive bolts of lightning from the sky, landing at wherever he points his finger.

Equipment

The Hawk comes armed with a series of throwing knives, which can also be used like regular knives in close quarters combat. He has six in total, with three strapped to each side of his waist. He also has a fire-resistant feather-like cloak that offers a bit of extra protection while allowing him to glide from high places. Lastly, he has a grappling hook that allows him to swing up to higher places such as rooftops.

Personality

As Claytoon Reese, he is mild-mannered and somewhat shy. He is a somewhat accomplished business man, so he knows how to bargain and is quite good at sweet-talking someone to get what he wants. He is incredibly idealistic, often being described as having his head in the clouds with his lofty ideals and naive sense of good and bad. He likes to do good for other people and firmly believes that everyone else should too. His black and white view of right and wrong leaves little understanding of the grey areas inbetween.

As The Magnificent Furious Hawk, he has much greater confidence, making him far more charismatic, to the point he is bordering on near absurdity. As a masked crimefighter, he is all heroic poses, cheesy one-liners and catchphrases and likes to yell the names of his magic attacks when he uses them.

Biography & Lore

Clayton Reese has always had a love of books. Brought up by rich parents in the Inner City, he had a sheltered life in a rather nice looking manor house. During his childhood, he practically lived in the library his parents had accumulated, absorbing himself in the epic stories of fictional heroes and their enemies. He reveled in the escapism these stories provided and would often pretend to be such heroes when he was playing outside. During school, he was often bullied for this, but he remained steadfast in his conviction that one day he could become just like the heroes in his books. He learned magic from an adept sorcerer who lived within the city and taught himself how to fight, developing a rudementary form of hand to hand combat which would later prove to be somewhat effective against petty criminals and the like.

Eventually deciding to set out on his own, he began his career as a business man and moved to the Outer City. His job as a business man was but a front, however, for his true calling was being the masked crimefighter that would be known as The Magnificent Furious Hawk.
