Shirok, like many Sereti Ogres, grew up training his sword arm and hunting the beasts of the mountains. Shirok was found to have talent not only in combat, but also in tracking, investigating, and pathfinding. As a result he was made a Vanguard, the closest equivalent to the word 'Scout' in Kherkhanash. Now he operates largely independently, or with a small team, to advance the interests of Kherkhana.
