Shinota Virnoze
Appearance
A decently tall, lean man. The light armor and cloak he wears is nothing extraordinary, so his real defining trait is the mask he never removes. Its slanted eyes don't seem to obscure his vision much, and the intricate carvings covering it seem to convey a message. Its meaning, however, is not easily translated. His back is lined with red marks, presumably remnants of frostbite. His arms are also unusually scarred.
Skills and Abilities
Navigation: He has extraordinary navigation skills, clearly tested to their limits. His uncanny sense of smell can pick up an incoming storm, or even something like an approaching monster. Also incredibly skilled at tracing footprints and discovering clues left behind.
Swordsmanship: He is clearly trained with a blade. He's proficient in both shortsword combat and skilled with the parrying dagger. His agility is what makes these skills fatal, a speed accomplished through years of practice.
Agility: His control over his body is impeccable, which aids his fighting ability greatly. He moves very quickly, and is also extremely flexible.
Suavity: A man of few words, he still manages better manners than most. He will rarely take praise, instead bowing to those speaking highly of him. He is very well disciplined and remains humble even in success.

Personality
Note rarely speaks at all, majorly due to his inexperience with Common as a language. He can understand it just fine, but he has issues formulating his own words. His behavior is comparable to that of a distinguished butler; he's extremely well mannered and humble, and will usually decline any praise he's given.
