"We are the music makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams; —
World-losers and world-forsakers,
On whom the pale moon gleams:
Yet we are the movers and shakers
Of the world for ever, it seems."
~Ode, Arthur O'Shaughnessy

Selzurius
Appearance
A leathery old man who is reliably stoic and sometimes wise, Sel nontheless betrays a heritage of education and wealth through his speech, his posture and of course the simple fact that he is old and still alive.
For his age he is in remarkable shape, his skin bronzed beneath the sun and clearly scarred. He has seen more shit than many ever could.
Despite an obviously privileged disposition, he rarely dresses the part of a noble, preferring instead to keep a plain garb or simply acquire whatever is needed from local wardrobes wherever he happens to be travelling.
Curtained behind a salt and pepper beard is a mouth as like to wear a scowl as a smirk, if anything at all, and just beneath equally bushy brows rest a pair of harrowing blue eyes. Of note are also the oversized ears, a bit scarred and the right one's missing its tip, belying a lineage that might not be completely human. Or maybe it's just old man ears. Only way to know for sure is to ask.

Skills and Abilities
[Strong Schools]:
Mesmer & Illusionist
Transfiguration
Necromancy (speaker for the dead)
[Weak Schools]:
Divination
Conjuration
[Unique/Personal Schools]:
School of the Blackflame
A cloud of dark smoke churns with graceful patience over a pool of mirror-frozen water. The Smoking Mirror.
Blackfire is an alchemical flame made conscious — a thought given heat and hunger. It burns nothing, yet sears the soul, revealing lies, regrets and hidden truths with its inner radiance. A weapon, a mirror, a salve, a curse; only those who master deception may wield it without being consumed by what they see within.
It just so happens to look similar to smoke, or more specifically combustion working its way through organic tissue such as wood. However it does not burn or cauterize the flesh of the living.
Those who are touched with Blackfire describe the sensation as a 'blossoming of warm, dry air' or 'a bones-deep scouring with a thousand little swords'. It varies by the person, normally, and that persons state of mind at the moment of contact.
Outdoor Survival Skills
If you can't find it out in the woods you didn't really need to bring it. Or you are in the wrong neck of the woods.
Disciplined and Patient
How do you get to where I am from where you are? Study and Practice. Years of it.
Head-Hunting
Sometimes alive-ones for very picky employers. Mostly unalived-ones for less picky employers.
Sword-work
The one you see.
Knife-work
The one you don't see.
