The United Tribes of Manyan-Iko
The United Tribes of Manyan-Iko is a recently established and assimilated state comprised of the ten tribes of the formerly warring Manyan peoples. The UTMI is a constitutional monarchy, following the tenets of both the national religion Metaokan as well as the written political laws of courtesy, called the Heshima. One such law forbids a mukuru, a chieftain, from warring against another mukuru until three gifts in three months are sent by the offended mukuru while another law denies the sarki, the monarch, the right to tax the tribes over 20% of their earnings. Amendments to the Heshima can be suggested at the Taro (a meeting of the sixteen clans every three years) and approved by a vote by a majority of the mukuru.
