Mrinnaleth Strand is a woman in her mind forties who is in permanent mourning for her late husband. She is both powerful and precise. Her bloodline magic to control gold and change it's form has earned her status as a 2nd Rank Dreadlord.

Grendel Strand is a young man of sixteen who can rust any metal and control the rust he creates.

Maggreska Strand is a girl of ten years who has the ability to increase the weight of any metal she has touched even once. She is quiet and reserved since the deaths of her father and brother.

Strand Estate (The Cage):
The seat of House Strand is an estate known locally as "The Cage" due to its utility as a prison in the past.
The grounds are entirely walled allowing only one entrance in or out. The inner wall is 5 metres high while the outer wall is closer to 7. The grounds between are patrolled by teams of 5, four Strand House guards as well as a single attack dog, typically a Great Dane.
Inside the house every servant and footman is also trained to defend the family and the grounds if it is so needed.
After the loss of her Husband and Son, Mrinnaleth takes no chances with her families safety and several procedures have been updated, including the promise to other Houses that such assistance in defending her home and family will be richly rewarded.
