Dagyt
(Dah-Zheet)
A hybrid species, of Drow & the Bat Demons. They are almost entirely unknown, having kept themselves hidden for centuries. They are quite civilized, for living in a hidden jungle village. However, the tribal leaders still follow ancient customs and beliefs.
Appearance
Generally ranging from 6'-6.5" tall. Noticeably taller than almost any Dark Elf.
Also unlike their Drow forefathers, Dagyt have extremely pale white skin. While keeping the signature pointed ears, they also have sharp fangs, red eyes of varying shades. They are generally tall in stature, and have large bat-like wings protruding from their shoulder blade region, that can be tucked behind them when needed.

Dagyt are extremely agile and quick. They have perfect control of their signature wings, and can fly as needed. While they can function in bright light, they are naturally drawn to the dark.

Lore
Ancient Drow were lured above ground by the draw of the Great Bat Demon, Seti. Seti mated with these Drow followers, in turn forming a new hybrid species that would come to be known as the Dagyt (Dah-Zheet).
History
The Dagyt have reminded secretive, and unknown to practically all. In recent years, some have ventured into civilization, disguised as regular Dark Elves, to learn the ways of modern life.
While they have picked up some modern tastes and language, the elders hold tight to the customs and beliefs of their forefathers. Seti is still honored as the God-Father of the Dagyt
