Cassus Auru Dinsbane is a liar. Anyone who's part of the house of Dinsbane as it currently exists is a liar. His true name is Ryo Dahn, a first and last name he combined into one when choosing a name for himself in the outside world. Born into a family of assassins, they saw the chance to get out of killing when they were sent to kill the Dinsbanes. Instead of just murdering them, they got rid of the bodies and took the places of the dead nobles once memorizing their features. Given their employer wasn't an idiot, he guessed what had happened and felt satisfied, ending their business there. After all, he had a whole "noble" house in his pocket now. Cassus, the eldest child of Dinsbane at 20, was taken over by Ryo. Unlike his parents, he did not like the lie they were continuing to use, and tried to find some way to do actual good with his skills instead of killing. Finally, a recruiter for the knights came around, and Ryodahn showed his gift for transformation by turning into the very recruiter he was speaking to! He wasn't very strong or powerful, but in cases that aren't real open battle, his talents would be useful. Thanks to that, he secured a spot as a Squire after reluctant acceptance by his parents, who saw him off.

As Cas, he has golden blond hair and dresses in somewhat ostentatious purple and gold leather armor. He is lean and quiet, but overall confident in his skills, and you can see that in his face as he fights.
