Rost makes ends meet as best he can, following great personal tragedy. Bartering various goods from the docks brings in enough to keep him fed and sheltered, with some to spare for those in need.

Rost is tall and strong from years of manual labor and seafaring. He has dark hair and skin tanned from years beneath a relentless sun. His eyes are a gentle gray, and he carries himself with a quietness that he finds eases people to his presence.

Rost used to be an accomplished sailor, and has seen much. He has an eye for discerning true treasures from fakes and can identify the origin of many artifacts that come through the ports. He retains seafaring knowledge including the intricacies of ships and navigation.

Rost is physically strong and reasonably proficient in combat.
