Biography & Lore
Born a Thessalton meant Alfred had most of what any young boy growing up in a wealthy household. Alfreds father, William Thessalton is a fairly prominent lawyer and holds some significant political influence in the areas surrounding the family manor. Sarah Thessalton, considered by Alfred as "The only reason Christianity had any influence on my own father" was Alfreds mother, she is generally described as a passive-aggressive character by Alfred, and would often hide her distaste for the lower class from Alfred. However Alfred already knew of the distaste and sought to never end up with the snobbish habits of his parents when he turned to Christ when he was 8 years of age. Alfred always wanted to spend his days outside the city streets on horseback, Alfred loved riding horses since he could first get into a saddle, he always said it was his ability to be free, free from the streets and crowds of the city. Alfreds parents wanted their only son to attend law school, however Alfred dropped out and told his parents "By God I love you both, but to have my interests taken away from me is a big tear between us, forgive me!" Then he attended seminary and became ordained, since then, he has traveled around as an itinerant preacher and on occasion a mounted mercenary.
