Out-of-character information

Quiggy is a goblin thief traveling the lands of Arethil, preying on those unfortunate enough to be in possession of something that strikes her fancy.

Appearance

Small, spindly, and green, Quiggy is easy to miss, and easier to forget. Dressed in rags and wrapped in bandages, if not for her small stature she would have stood out more in crowds, but small even for a goblin, she sits well below the line of sight of most big folk.

Skills and Abilities

A skilled thief, years ago she learned the arts of necromancy at the hands of an old fool who hired her to serve him. She uses both skills to keep herself fed. She is also very stealthy, skilled at staying hidden and blending into her surroundings. In combat she is not particularly useful, relying on a small crossbow, a blowdart that she keeps hidden on her person for emergencies, and throwing projectiles to create distractions. This can range from throwing rocks and pebbles to draw attention away from herself, to throwing knives to try and attack someone. Though with how weak she is she has to be pretty close to actually hit someone.

Personality

Quiggy is self-absorbed, greedy, almost lacking in empathy, and bordering on psychopathic. Her only redeeming qualities are born out of superstition. She is scared to break her word once given, will always repay her debts, and will not kill for pleasure. But at the same time her own cleverness and trickster like tendencies have allowed her to come up with loopholes within her beliefs. A crossed finger is enough to void any promise, a sufficient sacrifice at the alter of the gods is enough to counter any wrongdoings, among other equally random idiosyncrasies.

Biography & Lore

For as long as Quiggy can remember, she has been on her own. She was very young when her parents abandoned her, and she learned to fend for herself. She started with begging, moved to picking pockets, before finally landing on doing errands for whatever counted as the local criminal underground. Never staying too long at one place, she would invariably run afoul of either the authorities or the criminals themselves and have to flee to save her neck. It was during one such pit stop at a village which was too insignificant to even have a name that she came into the employ of a necromancer by the name of Fayth. While in his employ she was able to pick up some skill in the arts of necromancy. When the old man finally died, be it of old age as she claimed or by her hands as some assume, she left with his books and spent some time furthering her skills. She now uses those same skills to commune with spirits to help her in her thieving exploits.
