Oryyn Black
All it takes is one single crack.
A broken child with the miraculous ability to be unbreakable. The bastard child of some noble family in Vel Anir during their vacation to Vel Odren, is thrown away without a second thought.
Appearance
An athletic young man standing at 6'1, clearly once having a handsome face that has long since been marred by scars and the loss of one eye.
Skills and Abilities
Oryyn has been called immortal by some, but he was just born with an unbelievable self-healing ability. He will heal from nearly any wound, including most lethal strikes. A fairly simple gift.
However, there are some distinct rules.
However, there are some distinct rules.
- Oryyn can only heal if the damaging effect is removed. For example, if Oryyn drowned, he could only resurrect when the water was removed from his lungs. If he was stabbed through the heart, then he would heal once the blade was removed.
- Oryyn feels all the pain while he heals, making broken bones and burnt skin particularly nasty.
- Oyrrn has a large life force, but every time he heals especially from death, it leaves a mark. The more healing, the greater the mark.
Personality
Oryyn was broken long before he ever made it to the Academy. In fact, the Academy might have been the only thing to save his life, as he learned to tap into something to drive him forward. Anger.
He fights angrily, studies angrily, and competes in all aspects of life angrily. In this way, Oryyn might be one of the best representations of the old Academy ways still. However, since the founding of the Republic, his mood at the Academy has become far more melancholic as the Academy has removed much of the atmosphere that fostered his anger.
While he is not entirely insufferable when it comes to dealing with other, he does often give of the vibe that he is annoyed with those people or just generally frustrated by the situation itself.
