While he has a generally laid back adittude he has a disproportionate interest in animals, beasts and beastfolk of all varieties. This desire to pet anything with fur or a bit of scales often leads to trouble.

Biography & Lore

Like Many who became the ranks of the hounds Nyssiel was born unwanted. He was born the fourth son of minor house who soon fell to ruin, their name scrubbed from record.
He was given to the hounds early on in his childhood. Within it's ranks he could neither call on the nobility of a house, but he was lucky to have two blood brothers within it's ranks.
Sticking together the three of them were able to lean on each other through the harshness of initiation.

Now Nyssiel considers all of the hounds brothers and sisters in a way. Albeit a tenuous bond born from an unspoken understanding that one might be here today, dead tomorrow.
Among his brothers one became gifted to a noble house who latter fell to ruin just as their own had. This brother became a target but the outcome was unclear, they lost contact. The other perished in duty seeking the first. Perhaps were the hounds a less deadly unit to be beholden to then Nyssiel might have felt alone then. He grieved, but he and his siblings had known that death was an eventuality.

Nyssiel takes solace in assisting with the care of beasts. Something he took on with greater vigor after his blood brothers were gone.
