Having grown up mostly among her people, Nusk has lived a strenuous, yet surprisingly privileged life. She's not a particularly violent orc, but of course, she was raised by hunters and she trained with her kindred. Despite this, she finds an unbearable tedium in the martial ways of her people.

Fortunate for her, she was raised by parents who adored and supported her. They would buy her books to scour whenever they had an opportunity to do so, and indeed, she has read many of the classics in both fiction and nonfiction. Her areas of interest lay primarily in historical and theoretical nonfiction, logistics, drama, and romance.

She was so accepted by her parents in fact, that they jumped at the opportunity to sign her away to study under an Allirian scholar-accountant named Sueesi. She has been happily studying and working in Alliria for years now, all the while corresponding with her parents by messenger.

Nusk is an orc, so of course she stands quite a bit taller than other residents of Alliria. To those less familiar with her kind, her lumbering gait, muscled body, and curt disposition may come off as savage, maybe hostile. The more trained eye would reveal her to be more civilian and docile in nature than one's typical orc. Her hair is often worn in long braids, she favors robes and dresses, and she bathes frequently.

Though unusual, Nusk is as of yet mundane, so far as an orc can be. She has martial experience, she can hunt and gather and live off the land almost as well as the next, and she is well-learned. Her day-to-day work is usually spent assisting Sueesi and learning beneath her.

As a contemplative sort, Nusk has come to value the pretense of gruff barbarism that her heritage provides her. Sometimes, she yearns to be known for who she truly is. Other times, a harsh glare turns away pickpockets and flirts. Ultimately, she finds herself oscillating between personalities at the hands of context.
