Niandra Ne’Demir
Appearance
Upon first glance, this elf would appear no different than any other. A small frame, yet athletic and poised, she stands just under 5’ 4”. Long, well-kept, blonde hair is often braided or elegantly pinned with costly crystals and charms. The most notable oddity about this woman would be her dissimilar eyes - one blue and one green. Her gaze communicates both a sense of danger and playfulness, unexpected from one so elegantly aloof. By how she carries herself among others, a lavish and pampered upbringing is easily assumed, yet she appears to be observing her surroundings with a trained eye… which only intensifies the air of danger about her.
Skills and Abilities
Trained in a multitude of weaponry and hand-to-hand combat, Ni is quick on her feet and skillfully elusive in the shadows. While daggers and darts are clearly her preferred choice of weaponry (as seen fastened throughout her leather attire), the more proficient of magic manipulators may detect a subtle aura of energy – it may be that she once practiced the art of magic or is capable of, yet chooses not to.
Personality
Her personality is yet to be figured out by most as she appears to change nearly every day. One moment she is calm and welcoming, almost flirtatious. Another moment she may be crass and abrasive, demanding solitude. Even her accent appears to change from time to time – one moment heavy with Elvish charm and persuasion, the next moment she sounds precise and practiced like the Common tongue.
Biography & Lore
Born Nionor Ne’Demir, she is the first born of identical twins. Being the only children born to their mother, Elleanore Rose, the twins never found themselves short of playmates. Elleanore was the Grand Matron of Llynn Rhosyn Chateau, a lavish and esteemed retreat for travelers and adventure seekers. Llynn Rhosyn also housed a home for orphaned children. While many children of various races resided within the 26 acre walls, 7 would be adopted by Elleanore Rose before the twins’ birth – providing 7 elder brothers to the new sisters. Though sadly, the sisters would not grow up side by side. Due to reasons unknown, Elleanore sent Nionor to live among the Humans in Alliria, leaving Alyjandra (her twin) to remain at Llynn Rhosyn. Over the years, Nionor would learn the ways of the assassin – quickly attuned with a deadly range of mastered techniques.
Though the years were not easy for Nionor, and she would face many challenges and heartbreaks. She eventually find happiness after accepting her admiration for a young Human - a man she would later marry. Recent years proved exceptionally challenging. After the unexpected return of her husband (pronounced missing in action), Nionor witnesses the tragic death of her twin, Alyjandra. Nionor still struggles with the recent death and the cause remains a mystery. Though Nionor remains convinced that it was no accident but in fact murder, and her talks of a dark apparitions’ involvement falls on deaf ears. It’s rumored that Nionor now suffers a sort of post-traumatic shock – a prolonged effect of a tragic and abrupt severing of the sisters bond. Many assume this condition to be the cause for Nionor’s odd behavior of late, yet Nionor insists she speaks the truth and vows to someday provide proof.
Today, she no longer responds to her birth name, but has chosen to be called Niandra - in honor of her fallen sister. With the fall of Llynn Rhosyn to an unknown darkness, Niandra, with her husband at her side, begin their travels in search of answers and relics that may piece their lives back together.
But they may find the pieces have scattered more than they realize.
