Kino Tsoi
As said in my profile I won't show my avatar since I cannot find a suitable one. Enjoy Sir Moustache instead.
You are lost and dirty in Falwood among the endless forest of trees and vegetation, having no clue on your exact bearings. You breathe heavily as you hear rustling and growling close to you.
You are in quite shit luck since you escaped from nobility and your family. You wonder if this is worth it. Is getting lost in the woods nearly nude is better than living in the comfortable walls with a dysfunctional family consisting of a landed, respected knight, noblewoman and two sisters? Demoted as a squire? Neglected? Disciplined?
Yeah. You still aren't going back there. Fuck that.
You don't have time to remember how exactly you lost your clothes and now only dressed in nothing but a crude loincloth. The growling grows louder. You ready your only means of arsenal in your hands: a big, hopefully hard shaft of wood and a bark shield you found in some destroyed hut.
Appearance
<Kino Tsoi is a young, pale skinned male human in his 20s, sporting long unkempt hair that reaches down to the base of his neck. Brown eyes grant him perfect vision to the world. He is of average build, sporting little to no muscles. Though he looks sort of thin, it still isn't enough to make him look like a walking stick. Numerous whip scars decorate his back.>
Skills and Abilities
<From his experience as a former squire, swords, shields and lances are the types of weaponry that he is familiar with. Despite also having the experience to ride horses, nowadays he usually travels on foot. Some learning experiences in wilderness survival also allowed him to at least procure water, food and fire on his own. He can only speak the Common language.>
Personality
<Quiet = If he has nothing much to say, he remains silent or otherwise speak little words. He isn't very talkative to strangers unless necessary.
Violent = The tendency to be violent is prominent in battle. To him, the enemy must be disposed off with whatever means in his disposal, no matter how vicious. As long as they stay dead.
Shy = Shyness tends to overcome him if he finds himself in socially awkward situations. He may look away from the person he is conversing to. Or he may use gestures instead.
Cowardice = This is a loose term as more accurately, if he finds something or someone overwhelming to fight, retreating is the option. Fuck being honorable and shit. Save yourself if you have to until you have a better chance.
Depressive = Depression cling to him since he was a teenager, owing to the toxic environment of his family and other personal issues. In spite of this, even in the worst episodes, he manages to try to compose himself by doing what he likes at home or wandering around town. Food is also his coping mechanism, as he would eat a lot. Though he is also aware of his loneliness, he still finds comfort in solidarity.>

Biography & Lore
<Born in nobility, Kino Tsoi is the brother of a pair of twin sisters, both three years older than him. His father is a knight whom nobles respect for his combat prowess and bravery in spite of his otherwise stern behavior. Due to his marriage to a noblewoman, he became a member of one of the Seven Houses and was since loyal to it.
Kino's first commitment to the house was being a page to his uncle, a landed baron. Without going into much detail, he learned and got himself into the life of nobility and eventually promoted to squire, serving his father. He showed potential through combat lessons and horsemanship, although it still doesn't change that he had to endure the toxicity or shallowness of many nobles, his twin sisters not being no exception.
After feeling frustrated from his father's strict teaching in a sparring lesson, he rushed to him and bludgeoned his head with his training shield before he was pulled away. This incident put his father to bed for almost three weeks, and upon hearing this, Kino found himself whipped by his mother. Upon recovery, his father saw that Kino may not be a suitable candidate for knighthood and stripped him of his title as squire.
Being put up with constant discipline, passing stories of the sparring incident, and the ongoing toxic relationship with his family further drove his depression further and he was convinced that he was alone and never belonged in the house. He waited until he had the chance to quietly slip away, never looking back as he ran from the safety of his home and Vel Anir itself should his family look for him.
