Once a resented, unwanted child. Hu Ji resides in the Mount Hoa Qua Monastery in the Land of Barrows where the neighboring ascetics and Banners of the valleys below honor his might at the Tiger Festival.​

Tall. Intimidating physique. Swept back, dark medium length hair. Lusterless, dull eyes. Pale complexion.​

Ji is a fearsome combatant who favors fighting in an open-handed style and is well suited for any athletic endeavor, and his already impressive physical capabilities are further improved by his internal arts. He is a self-taught martial artist, but has gleaned some techniques from the scripts and manuals kept in the Hoa Qua Quiet Sect Monastery.​

The internal arts that strengthen Ji's body and the external arts that cleave his foes into pieces are not derived from any school, nor passed down from any master. They were developed in response to the unforgiving conditions in the Land of Barrows.​
