Fame: Semi-Infamous Bounty Hunter
The Wolf
A bounty hunter well known around the Allirian Reach, and the Jewel of Two Continents; well regarded for his efficiency and dedication to the craft, doubly so for his knack for survival. Many taverns see many Bounty Hunters, many more famous and more skilled, but many remember 'The Wolf' for more than his captures, or his kills. He is down to earth, social and just unlike many of the brazen and hard boiled brutes of the profession, but when it comes to work they find none so focused on his goal.
Its been this way for many years, as James has done little to stifle a rising reputation. Infact, he has purposefully spread untruths about himself strictly to get more clientele, and so far it has paid well for the bounty hunter; which goes as far to say he hasn't been killed by a infamous centaur lord or overzealous goblin yet. He owns no home, just the armor on his back and sword in his sheathe, but what he makes up for in a lack of personal possessions is with stories and experiences. The bounty hunter has seen a number of atrocities occur in the name of war, and was even apart of a few on both ends, and he's not afraid to share these stories with anyone and everyone; with a bit of liquid incentive of course.
Even still, while his skills at storytelling perhaps outweigh his skill with a sword, it is still nothing to scoff at. James has earned the reputation of 'The Wolf' through a concentrated effort of swordsmanship, and incredulous courage on the battlefield; so much so, some claim he has an outright deathwish. Whatever the reason, James moves through the battlefield with ease and bravado; looking more like a dancer than a fighter, carefully crafting each move to line up with his previous. In his profession, its almost a requirement, lest he end up with one less eye or a few less fingers.
Despite this, James carries a number of scars from losses, leading to his well known reputation for being 'unable to die'. Some consider him Immortal, and James isn't too sure himself, but what is known as that despite the menagerie of scars The Wolf still talks prey to this day. A fine hunter, and a finer tracker, The Wolf expands his hunts past Alliria now for more reputation, and more gold to be spent on a warm night in the tavern, hopefully with company.
