Like every other Urahil, Isolde has been graced with beauty. Blonde hair, blue eyes, fair-skinned. There is no mistaking her as anything but Urahil when she enters a room. Unlike many of the female Urahils, Isolde has short choppy blonde hair that frames her face in a way that accentuates her beauty.

The most notable aspect of Isolde’s appearance is a large, jagged scar running down the right side of her face from her forehead to just below her eye. Her brother once told her that it was a disgusting blemish on the pristine image of a Urahil. Despite its presence, it has a certain rugged and intimidating beauty that contrasts her otherwise delicate features.

Isolde, like many Urahils, was enrolled in the Academy from a young age to hone her skills as a healer. Similar to many Urahils, she surpassed most other initiates and dreadlords alike with healing. Her prowess as a healer and Dreadlord earned her a role as a proctor, where she became responsible for teaching healing magic to the younger generations of initiates.

During this time as a Proctor, the young Perrine Urahil found herself a pupil of Isolde. Isolde observed a peculiar, darker edge to Perrine’s healing nature. She was intrigued, often holding her cousin back and tutoring her in private where she guided her niece in mastering the art of healing as well as the destructive, opposite side, of their magic. Perrine’s talents proved to be unconventional, requiring direct touch. Isolde had been able to push past this restriction in her own magic.

But the excitement wore off and Isolde continued to pursue pushing beyond the bounds of her magic, stepping into forbidden, unknown, and dangerously unpredictable territories.

Restless curiosity and a penchant for seeking out the unknown have marked Isolde just as her scar has. Isolde is easily bored by routine and mundane aspects of life. She was dissatisfied with her role as “just a healer” quite early on in her career. This has led her to sate her curiosity and explore the unknown and forbidden. Isolde is one to push boundaries, no matter how outlandish and no matter the consequences.

Her naturally sneaky demeanor and cunning mind have only served to further drive her to seek out deeper knowledge while keeping her true intentions hidden and manipulating situations to her advantage.
